I bought this kit as my first real lens after my Sony 18-135mm kit zoom lens. These are incredibly sharp, not the quickest focusing, but I still find myself using each of these three for specific types of shots. The f/1.4 is great for low light, or especially with the 56mm you can get some very impressive bokeh. These are super small and lightweight too, making them an easy addition to you camera bag

The Sigma f1.4 Trio has been a must have in my camera bag since their release. The sharpness and clarity of these 3 lenses is superior to any of Canon's native EF-M lenses, and I've tried them all. I'm shooting on a Canon M6 mark ii, and the quality of image these lenses can produce is every bit as good as Canon's higher-end lenses, at a fraction of the cost. I would highly recommend the Sigma Trio to anyone who wants to up the production level of their photography/videography.

The 16, 30 and 56 mm Sigma prime lenses are very sharp. I especially think the 30mm is the sharpest of the trio. I have used them on my Sony A7ii with I.S. capturing both auto crop and vignetted images. Photographing with primes does make you think a little more about how to frame the shot.

Great deal ion 3 fantastic lenses. I am using them on my Sony A6000. Love the sharpness and color. I am not sure about the container because I can carry the lenses in my backpack.

After meticulous design and rigorous testing, the Sigma 16mm, 30mm, and 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary 3-Lens Kit emerges as an unparalleled trio for Sony E-mount APS-C cameras, offering photographers and videographers a versatile range of focal lengths with exceptional brightness and artistic potential.
The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN | Contemporary lens is a trailblazer in its class, being the first APS-C format interchangeable lens to provide a 24mm equivalent focal length with a wide f/1.4 aperture. This large-diameter wide-angle lens is a dream come true for mirrorless camera enthusiasts seeking superior performance in low light and the ability to create stunning bokeh. Its stepping motor ensures smooth, silent autofocus, perfect for capturing video without noise disruption. The lens's compact design doesn't compromise on optical quality, offering sharp, clear images even when shooting handheld or with the camera on a stable surface. The robust construction includes a dust and splash-proof mount and a high-precision, rugged brass bayonet mount, ensuring durability and reliability in various shooting environments. Additionally, Sigma's Super Multi-Layer Coating combats flare and ghosting, while the 9-blade rounded diaphragm contributes to a pleasing out-of-focus quality in your images.
The Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens is a compact marvel, delivering outstanding optical performance at an accessible price point. With its f/1.4 aperture, this lens captures beautifully sharp images with creamy bokeh that rivals the Art line series. The design incorporates an aspherical element and a double-sided aspherical element, ensuring high-resolution results across the entire frame. The lens's stepping motor provides fast and smooth autofocus, making it ideal for both still photography and video recording. It's a versatile choice for a wide range of photographic situations, from portraits to landscapes. The lens is also compatible with Sigma's Optimization Pro software and USB Dock for firmware updates, ensuring it stays current with technological advancements.
Completing the trio, the Sigma 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens is the smallest mid-telephoto lens in its class, yet it delivers the impressive bokeh and luminous quality expected from an f/1.4 aperture. This lens maintains the Contemporary line's ethos of compactness without sacrificing image quality. Its optical design is optimized for video autofocus performance, with a stepping motor that provides smooth and quiet operation. The lens is also fully compatible with Sony E-mount cameras' Fast Hybrid AF for precise tracking, even when using face recognition or eye AF functions. Like its siblings, it features a high-precision, rugged brass bayonet mount and a dust and splash-proof construction. The 9-blade rounded diaphragm ensures out-of-focus areas are rendered with a soft, attractive blur, enhancing the overall visual appeal of your photos.
Together, these three Sigma lenses form a comprehensive kit that addresses the needs of discerning photographers and videographers, offering a range of creative possibilities and consistent performance across all shooting scenarios. Whether capturing expansive landscapes, intimate portraits, or dynamic street scenes, this 3-lens kit for Sony E-mount is poised to deliver exceptional results, time and time again.
