Works flawlessly with my Sigma 70-200 2.8 and 120-300 2.8 on both my Canon 7d mark 2 as well as my Sony A7 mark 3 with my Mc-11 adapter but even better with my vitrox speed booster as it reduces my F Stop by 1 stop.

Able to get longer distance with good quality. Wish it would work with my 18-35 sigma lens too. Alas. With this I was able to not regret leaving my Sigma 150-600 behind when I went on vacation.

I am using the teleconverter with a Nikon3s and a Sigma 150-600 mm zoom. Yes, the converter does what it should do... but it is user unfriendly.... the autofocus does not work, and it is difficult to focus. I will use it whenever i would like to make a picture with a 1200 mm lens... Very very seldom.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my photos taken with the Sigma Tele-Convertor. I have used other convertors in the past and always found a lot of image blur on the edges and lack of detail. With the sigma converter the blur was reduced on the edges and the detail was sharp. The quality of the Sigma was of a very high order and one can tell the difference with other lens made out of Japan. The detail in the workmanship is first rate. I am very pleased with my purchase of the Sigma 2x Tele-Convertor. I have attached 3 photos; the first two of Lens Alignment charts, the first on the left is from a Sigma 18-250 zoom set at 100mm zoom w/o the 2x, the second is with same lens set at 50mm with the 2x. The third photo is was taken with a Sigma 150-600mm with the 2x.

Image stabilizer seems to work ok at close to infinity, Autofocus does not work ( as specified). Image quality is ok in the non-macro range. Did not notice major degradation of image quality. Have no experience yet with macro range. Teleconverter is reasonably priced.

I use a Canon 7D with the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 lens and a Sigma 1.4X tele-converter and love it. It is almost always razor sharp and so I thought that the 2.0X tele-converter would also be very sharp. I was very disappointed with it. I knew it would change the f2.8 to f5.6, but I was not prepared for the degradation in auto-focus accuracy.

I shoot wildlife from a boat so I need lots of reach an with this Sigma 2x EX APO teleconverter on my Nikon D7100 and the Sigma 150-500mm lens I can get it, will be getting the 50-150mm 2.8 to go with it also. It communicates with the camera as intended, no problems with exposure or shooting. It does not have the white the dots to line up when installing to camera it's a little cumbersome to put on camera, Manual focus does not work on the Sigma 150-500mm lens.

I bought this to use with a Sigma 120-300 Sport since there are some fit issues with using that lens and my Nikon 2x TC. No big deal, if it works out fine - if not I return it. Well, I have a 240-600 f/5.6 zoom with much better than expected image quality. Its not as good as what the 1.4xTC produces but its more than usable. AF is slower by a bit.Perhaps my speed bump on the lens using the USB dock will make it better but its not bad now. It adds length and make the whole package a bit much to balance so I use a sidekick gimbal and that helps. Overall worth it. Unless you just have to have the best IQ for 600mm....if thats the case Adorama has operators waiting.

I use this tele-converter on my Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 OS lens. It's a great way to get to 400 mm, even if the apperture is sacrificed to f/5.6. The autofocus is fast and consistent. Make double sure to check and make sure this converter is compatible with your lens, as it isn't compatible with all lenses.

I must admit I read other reviews that said it didn't work for them but for the price I had to try. I wanted it to pair with my nikon 70-200 2.8 but the auto focus wouldn't work. I returned it right away and received credit.

I really like it paired with my Canon 70-200 f2.8L lens. I've been able to get close to birds and get some great shots. It does add weight to the lens so a tripod is a must. Less expensive than the Canon and works great.

I had been using a Canon 2x III Extender with my Sigma 120-300 2.8 OS (Also from Adorama) mounted on a Canon 7d for about about ten months and was never really completely satisfied with the sharpness of my shots. The sharpness didn't compare with the shots that another photographer, who used the same lens, produced. He wrote that he used a Sigma 2x teleconverter with the Sigma zoom lens. I decided to buy a Sigma 2x to see if it would make a difference. Shortly after I received it I tested it against the Canon 2x III. What I found was that shots with the Sigma 120-300 f2.8 OS combined with the less expensive Sigma 2x was noticeably sharper than the Canon 2x. I believe I've found a winning combination.

I bought this a while back and finally got around to using it for wildlife. It works great on my Sigma 70-200 f2.8 APO on a D800 and works even better in DX mode giving aprox a 600mm crop, but a smaller image. It works so well I am considering stacking it or a 1.4X to see it can keep me from buying a more expensive lens for now. And yes, you do lose some stops, but I have found a sturdy tripod can make up for the loss. The picture below is a cropped image in Lightroom.

I use this with my Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 lens to double the focal length for wildlife shots and barns I can't get close to because of trespassing issues! It gives me a long focal length and a feast F5.6 aperture to get shots without buying a much more expensive and cumbersome lens! Worth the money for what I do! I can even still hand hold for a lot of shots!

My plan was to extend the zoom range for my Sigma APO 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM Zoom Lens, may can achieve to 200-600mm for DX format camera to shoot for wildlife/sport/action? Therefore I bought this Sigma APO Teleconverter 2x EX DG for mount on my Nikon D7000 & Nikon D90 camera body. Below is my observed result: 1) AF is maintained through out the entire range of fast and accurate. 2) The image quality is still fairly. 3) The extender will take your Aperture down to f/5.6, but you have extended double zoom range. I sill very happy with this 2x TC, although has little decrease the image quality-lose some of clarity/saturation, overall is a great TC. Especially for the pricing is reasonable. Please, note that you may better use Sigma Lens for Sigma TC for better compatible. My Recommendation is to try this Sigma 2x TC.

Noticeable difference in focus speed when used with the 70-200 on the SD15. Image quality remained, must have some type of support and daylight to achieve desirable results. Really long focal lengths are achievable with the SD cameras 1.7X crop factor. Example 200mm X 2x Extender X SD15's 1.7x Crop = 680mm Focal length.

I recently purchased this teleconverter along with SIGMA'S 70-200 f2.8 OS lens and am very pleased with the added reach. Buy using them together, I have the flexibility of doubling my focal range to 140-400mm while maintaining a f-stop of 5.6 and the tack sharpness and consistent focus I am accustomed to. It's nice to have flexibility without carrying a second lens for those distant shots! (Please select this teleconverter carefully, as it does not work with all SIGMA lenses).

Any time I can't get where I can't go this is the answer. I always sues a monopod or tripod. Just like any large telephoto moving objects are elusive. If you know where your target is going to be set up before hand. When using a tripod I always use a remote shutter release, no matter what lens I am using. Sharp photos are a must if you are going to enjoy or sell them.
