A perfect 35mm lens...simply stunning!
Simple an amazing lens! Performance wide open across the frame is fantastic. Beautiful smooth bokeh and well corrected aberrations. Autofocus is fast and accurate on my A7R iii and A9. My favorite 35mm of all time and I have tested everything available for Sony and even the Canon 35mm 1.4 L ii. nothing touches this lens!
Well rounded and super-spec’d
So far this lens has provided excellent quality imagery in a variety of scenarios. It’s extremely sharp—the sharpest I’ve seen in some time. The bokeh rendering is beautiful and provides a nice 3D pop to subjects. Fringing is indeed present at 1.2, but it seems better than the two 35 1.4 counterparts. Heavy, but not unwieldy. I used it for some fast moving action shots yesterday and focus was pretty reliable.

The focus limiter is also customizable for Sports lenses. Using special USB Dock, the user will be able to connect the lens to their PC, and, using easy-to-operate on-screen controls, fine-tune focus and adjust other parameters to suit their personal preferences.
