I love it. AF is awesome. Bokeh is exceptional. Weight is the only downside. It's one heavy monster of a lens.

Awesome product

If I am being perfectly honest I wasn't sure about upgrading from my Sony 50mm 1.8. it was my workhorse lens and I used it for so many situations for shooting wedding video. But 3 weddings in with this lens and I absolutely adore it. The Bokeh is ridiculous. Like wide open at 1.4 it's super creamy with fantastic colors. It's super sharp too. The auto focus on my FX3 is excellent. The mark of a good auto focus lens is following first dances and this lens does it much better than my old 1.8.

This lens is wonderful

Yeah you could buy one of those expensive "Brand names" for an extra $800-$1500, but their not going to give you nearly as much clarity for the extra cost. This lens is one of the best I've owned at this focus length, and you be hard pressed to find anything better at this cost point.

One of the best you can buy for the aperature

It is a great lens! The photo quality was everything I could have hoped for! I must admit it was on the heavier end of lenses, but it works great!
