Great filter, saved my canon Rf28-70 F2. Was shooting a demolition derby when one of the cars kicked up a ton of mud and rocks....front of my $3000 lens was hit straight on. Cleaned it off and didn't even have a scratch on the filter. Was so impressed bought one for my rf 70-200mm

A solid lens and gives confidence that it is protective. The rings are just the right size unlike the previous ones I had which were much thinner.

For some reason this filter fogs easily. Even when I’m using my lens indoors without much change in temperatures the filter fogs, it’s very annoying. Let’s not talk about shooting outdoors, it has fogged just about every time I have used it outdoors.

I have been shooting a Rokinon 24mm t1.5 lens on a Sony A7riii with and without this filter. I would say it is performing very well since the images appear the same either with or without it.

Investing a substantial amount of money in great lenses it only makes sense to protect the front element from the elements ,I always make sure especially when at the beach to use a protective filter to keep the salt spray and mist off the front lens element , this ceramic protector does this and more

This is the best filter I have ever used. Super sharp and excellent protection. I love how slim it is as well!

When Sigma introduced this filter I was amazed by the romised hardness and visual quality but I kept my hopes low not to be diasappointed later. I bought two of these -a 77mm to fit on the Canon 16-35 f/4 IS USM, and an 82 mm for the Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L II USM. I tested those on a 50 megapixel Canon 5DsR and compared them against another top quality filter, the Hoya Pro-1 my first choice up till then. Both Sigma filters emitted awesome quality, at least as good as the Hoya Pro 1 and even better on the corners where differences are easier to notice. This becomes possible by the slim glass of this filter. Slimmer, clearer and harder it is the absolute combination. The construction quality is superb, the barrel of the filter feels and is heavy duty although light, and it is a filter you cannot really tell is not part of an L series lens itself! It is that good! Sigma had always been delivering very nice and well built filters, but this new series is outstanding and given the new levels of hardness it is a best value for money all in all. It does not distort images or colors and I will definately try to buy those for most of my more expensive and most used lenses.

protection for your lens, so clear you do not know it is on your lens!
Because your camera lens is a valuable asset, it deserves the best protection. The Sigma 67mm WR Ceramic Protector Ultra Thin Clear Glass Lens Filter, available exclusively at Adorama, is designed to safeguard your lens from scratches, dust, and other damaging elements.
This highly reliable lens filter is crafted from a revolutionary material known as Clear Glass Ceramic. This advanced material is a result of Sigma's unique collaboration with a leading glass manufacturer. Clear Glass Ceramic is a crystallized glass that is tougher than chemically strengthened glass and more flexible than sapphire crystal glass, making it the perfect material for lens filters.
The Sigma WR Ceramic Protector is not just a protective filter; it's a testament to Sigma's commitment to quality and innovation. The filter is made using a special heat treatment that evenly distributes microcrystals of a mineral called spinel throughout the filter, giving it consistent strength and resistance to cracking due to small scratches or chips.
With a Vickers hardness number of 700HV, the Clear Glass Ceramic filter offers a level of hardness much higher than that of chemically strengthened glass used in conventional filters. This ensures that your filter is resistant to scratches and chips that can lead to breakage.
The Sigma WR Ceramic Protector is not just stronger, but also thinner and lighter than previous Sigma filters. Thanks to the strength of Clear Glass Ceramic, this filter is up to 50 percent thinner and weighs up to 30 percent less, while offering superior protection.
The high transmittance of Sigma's Clear Glass Ceramic makes it ideal for use as optical glass. It allows light to pass through evenly throughout the image, from the center to the edges, ensuring high-quality images.
The filter also features a water-repellent (WR) coating that minimizes flare and ghosting by reflecting only 0.24 percent of visible light. This coating also repels water and oil, making it easy to clean fingerprints and dust.
Designed and manufactured entirely in Japan, the Sigma WR Ceramic Protector meets Sigma's high standards of excellence. It is compatible with all Sigma lenses and is checked with Sigma's proprietary Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) measuring system using 46-megapixel Foveon direct image sensors.
The filter comes with a durable storage case made of a special acrylic that is stronger and more flexible than conventional filter storage case materials. The case is designed to last many years with minimal deterioration and is ideal for filter storage.
In conclusion, the Sigma 67mm WR Ceramic Protector Ultra Thin Clear Glass Lens Filter is a high-quality, reliable, and innovative product that offers superior lens protection. It is a testament to Sigma's commitment to quality and innovation and is available exclusively at Adorama.
