Super sharp, packed with features and sits in the middle weight wise to the other comparable options such as the Lumix 70-200 f4 and the Lumix 70-200 f2.8 (which is massive btw in bound weight and length).
Great piece of glass
This Lens is light, and feel great in the hands. The internal zoom is best feature to me. Autofocus is snappy and the images are sharp. Great option if you are looking for a more pocket friendly 70-200.

The SIGMA 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS Sports lens is designed to withstand challenging photographic conditions with its dust and splash-proof construction. The inner zoom mechanism maintains the barrel length when recomposing, adding to its user-friendly features. This lens is the first SIGMA DN zoom lens to be equipped with an aperture ring of the click/declick type, enhancing its versatility.
The lens's streamlined optical design and multi-material structure, which optimally arranges magnesium and TSC, contribute to its lightweight body. The compact tripod collar and foot, along with the carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) lens hood, further minimize the weight, making it easy to handle.
The lens features Dual HLA-driven floating focus for fast, accurate AF. The high-thrust HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) drives the focus lens, and a floating focus is used to achieve high-speed AF drive. This floating configuration reduces the amount of movement of each focus group, ensuring highly responsive and extremely fast AF.
The lens also incorporates the latest OS2 stabilization algorithm, providing image stabilization performance of 7.5 stops at the Wide end and 5.5 stops at the Tele end. The SIGMA 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS Sports lens exhibits minimal focus breathing on both the wide and tele ends, making it an ideal lens for video applications. The minimal change in the center of gravity ensures stable shooting in all situations, whether handheld, on a tripod, or with a gimbal.
During zooming, five groups are moved to suppress aberration fluctuation, ensuring high optical performance throughout the zoom range.
