Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?Christopher R : This is an amazing guitar case. This is the 3rd TRIC case I have purchased. The protection it provides against fluctuating temperatures and accidents/abuse while weighing less than 4 pounds is excellent. I will continue to purchase these as long as they are sold.

Does the "TRIC" for stable humidity and temperature.

Great price for a VERY lightweight case that is truly protective, due to the rigid foam construction and soft plush interior. This is ideal for taking to the park or on the Subway to gigs. But that is not why I bought it. I made this purchase to use as a winter case in my home, during those months when the dry heat of NYC apartments can ravage delicate, solid-wood guitars. These TRIC cases hold humidity INSIDE the instrument chamber, way better than the cases my guitars came in. "Thermally Regulated Instrument Case" is what it stands for. But that also includes stabilized humidity. I bought a Dreadnought size TRIC case years ago, to have something more protective than a gig bag. I recognized how my Damp-it humidifier stays soft and moist way longer than any of my more expensive cases. So, I sought out this Concert Hall Deluxe case for my even more expensive 000-size guitar from the Martin Custom Shop. And I was happy to find it in stock in NYC, at Adorama. The Deluxe part refers to the storage pouches on the outside, which I wish were deeper. But they are much better than nothing at all. The regular cases have a zipper outside but the compartment is about as deep as a Baggie, just enough for sheet music or a very shallow music book. At least this is deep enough for a strap, strings, etc.But not deep enough for foot pedals. I would take a star off because of the lack of pouch depth. But the very reasonable price more than makes up for it!
