A worthwhile accessory

The one problem with the hood is that it will not fit over the lens cap. So, it can only be used with the lens cap off. According to Sigma the 30mm lens is flare resistant, so I only use the hood when I feel it will be helpful. It is easy to attach and remove. It also provides alot of protection, so sometimes I just leave it on. Most of the time I do not use it. I was able to purchase it on sale. I think it is a useful accessory to have.
