Perfect fit!  Purchased the Sigma 17-50 f2.8 for my gf, but it didn't come with a hood.  Naturally, I went to Adorama to pick one up.  Received quickly and it fits just as expected.  Thumbs up!

It?s a lens hood. It increases the contrast in your image and gives a little protection if you drop your lens.

Always use a lens hood!

It fit the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Lens, as advertised. This lens has a 67mm filter thread size, though this hood attaches to the outside of the lens, and does not screw into that thread.

I dropped the camera last year and the lens hood too the worst of it.  I ordered another one but it was for a different model of the same lens.  This one is for the contemporary and I believe it is OEM.  Perfect and I'm protected again without the look of glue on my lens hood.

I bought the lens shade 3 weeks ago, finally received it through the mail service. I didn’t read that UPS will take it to the USPS. For this reason 4 stars is enough. That was a long wait. Missed my opportunity to use my lens shade but I got my shot regardless. 
I suggest if you need a product from Adorama and you live in the west coast, pay extra for the fast delivery or wait 3 weeks because of the COVID pandemic. I get it now, everyone is probably experiencing the same.  The lens shade works perfectly and for the price you can’t beat.

Great replacement just like the original. My old one eventually wore out and wouldn’t click into place but this one does, sound and secure.

Happy with the purchase

Bought a sigma 35mm second hand and didn’t get the lens hood with it. This was the perfect fit and accessory to help cut out any lens flare and improve contrast. If you have the 35mm art and don’t have the lens hood than you need to get this one.

I would recommend it even though it doesn't always stay put on the lens when you have it turned around backwards (for storage and not for use).

OK lens hood

Very good lens once you calibrate it with the camera body. I have a Canon 6D, it had to be calibrated so the lens would performance perfectly.

70-200 mm lens hood

Exactly as the original. It fits perfectly to the lens, good click and it is snug.

When I purchased my Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 EX I hated the lens hood. It was not tight and just spung around and never locked in place. 

This replacement hood is PERFECT! You can tell that Tamron changed the design at some point as this is slightly different than the original. Adorama had this lens 30% cheaper than every other place I looked.

Very glad I purchased this as I can now enjoy my lens.
