Ed D : will this tripod collar with with a canon EF 70-300 1:4-5.8 is usm? If not could you direct me to one that will work. Thanks EdSETH M : Ed, I'm not sure if this would fit on your Canon lens. I put my collar on a Sigma 300 mm f/2.8 lens. According to Sigma, this collar fits a Sigma 70-200 mm f/2.8 and 100-300 F/4 lenses. Sorry I can't help you out more.STEVE R : This collar is made for Sigma's bigger, heavier lenses. It likely will not fit on your Canon lens. Usually there are not collars made for the lighter lenses like yours. I would call Canon to see if they make an accessory collar. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Great product!

I primarily shoot sports photography put this tripod collar on my Sigma 300 mm f/2.8 lens. If you own this lens you need this tripod collar. The stock one doesn't give you any room to move your hand under the lens, this one does. I can now access the focus ring and hold the lens. I would highly recommend this product.

Makes life easier with a heavy lens

Works very easy and made of solid material. This is a must. Makes working with a heavy lens very doable.

The stock one doesn't give you any room to move your hand under the lens, this one does. I can now access the focus ring and hold the lens. I would highly recommend this product.
