What am I doing wrong!?PETER J : Hello, i am guessing that you mean the 24-70mm 2.8 ex dg hsm, which is and older lens prior the time where Sigma came out with the usb dock. if it has a very mate black outer side and a golden ring it will probably not be compatible ... if it has a black finish more shiny it will fit - there might be exceptions of this rule but it is pretty good to go by. I didn't see your lens but I am sure that this is one of the older series.Michael Z : It only works on the newer 24-70 Art lens 24-70mm F2.8 DG OS HSM AANDREW R : For tech support or troubleshooting I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer.
DANA L : I have a Sigma 105 macro and a 70 - 200 sigma will this help?MICHAEL M : Yes, as long as you have canon mount EOS lenses from Sigma, this will allow you to troubleshoot and update the software on these lenses through your computer.DALE E : If your lenses are new or fairly new they have the ability to up grade settings and firmware if you look on sigma's web site for lenses updates page it will inform you of the latest updates if my memory is correct the A and C lines are the up gradable lensesDAVID H : No, this will not work with the two lenses you have listed. This is made for what they call their Global Vision lenses. You can go on their site to see which lenses are compatible with this item. Hope that helps. Sigma USB Dock Good

Still learning to use it but it was easy to check on the firmware and see what the possibilities are for the focus on the lenses.

Great device!

This is a great product. I have several Sigma lenses, and it works with all, except an older 10-20mm lens. It helped with updating the firmware on a couple of my lenses. And it greatly helped with focus and adjustment controls on several of the lenses. I had a couple of lenses that were hard to focus, and I was prepared to get rid of them, until I tested them with the focus adjustment. I now feel like I have two brand new lenses that focus perfectly. I now feel that if I purchase any new Sigma lenses, I can attach the lense and verify that the lens or lenses will function perfectly.

Worth It

I recently bought my first sigma lens for my Nikon camera, and so I bought this USB dock so I could adjust some of the settings on the lens. The software is super easy to install and use, and I'm looking forward to finding exactly the right settings for my style. Definitely recommend to anyone buying Sigma lenses.

One-Time Use, But Necessary

I used this to alter the focus speed on my Sigma 120-300 2.8. Other than that, it will sit. The lens was optically exceptional out of the box, so I don?t see using it again unless there?s a major firmware upgrade available.

Only wish I could take a credit instead of adding to my collection of these every time I get a new Sigma.

Sturdy and very easy to use. I don't need it for calibration on mirrorless, but It's great to be able to tweak the custom settings on my Sigma lenses.

Returned the lens and usb dock

I used this several times to try and get the focus to work with my Canon 6D Mark ii. I could not get the AF to work half the time so I returned the lens and this. Loved the lens when it would actually work but that was one time luckily. The lens would lock up often so I knew it may have been a lemon but I quickly returned it.

My initial one week evaluation was that this lens had a focus problem. I contacted Samsung, where they advised me to send for an exchange, which I did, and Adorama promptly, without fuss, sent me the return authorization. Works, but am still a little confused

It came and works as advertised. I wished there was a more intuitive video to learn how to do all the adjustments needed, but you can look through google if you need it. To be honest, I'm still a little confused on how to most accurately test the lens to work with this haha.
