Purchased the holster set for work as a fire investigator and it works fantastic. Highly recommend this product for other investigators. Was missing the mount screw and sent an email to let Spider know and had the replacement in four days. Buy this product. You won?t regret it.

I have used Peak Design?s Capture Clip for my two EOS R5?s (one with battery grip, one without). In a fast paced environment, it?s difficult to operate a camera and slide in and out of the clip using one hand (near impossible). What I love about the Spider is that you can store and remove your camera with just one hand and be assured it?s in place once you?ve set it in. Removal is just as easy. What I think I love most is that the camera points behind me, which allows my on-camera flash to point downwards. I don?t need to worry about hitting people with my flash awkwardly sticking out. I also love that the Arca-Swiss plate allows me to mount to my tripods quickly (even though this is a $25 extra?).

Been ages since i wanted to get myself one. Just had to wait for the promos to get it at a discounted price since my currency is much lower than the USD. But i finally bit the bullet to get one. Well product looks and feel sturdy and of good quality. Initially encountered a problem while installing the base plate on my battery grip but finally managed to solve it through the help of your video guide. Thanks! Second is i'm feeling a slight pain on my wrist on a certain angle whenever i removed my cam from the holster. Im thinking if the holster position is lower it might eliminate that chance of me eventually injuring my wrist while on action in an event. The proprietary belt that goes with the holster could've helped my predicament as i can then put the holster at a much lower position than my pants' belt. I think for now i just need to wrap my wrist with some support to avoid the risk of injury while i wait for the next round of discount promo so i can get that belt. My initial thought of not getting it was i don't want to appear like a trying hard pro photog/gun slinger/photography nerd. You know what i mean. :-D

I ordered this kit because I already had a Think Tank belt and wanted to use the Think Tank pad. The combination worked perfectly! Now I wish I had ordered two because I want one for each camera body.

This is very well built. The only concern I have is for how much weight hangs off the belt, it tends to drag my pants down to where I feel I need a stronger belt. Other than that it's a wonderful product that works very well.
