Sadly can’t use on its own without trying to modify the pin or find a proper size spacer maybe Screw goes in and can’t go in any further and plate is still loose The long thick usb cables barely fit not sure if they will pinch since I can’t tighten down all the way :) Love my other spider gear though

So you've set up for tethered capture, in some cases that includes an AC adapter cable to power the camera for the day. This means you've got both a USB and power cable running to the camera. Looking at this plate I think you could allow for 2 cables to be captured making this even better.

I was looking for a way to use a back up battery pack for my A9 that would hold the cable to the camera. And would prevent any damage to my camera if the battery fell out of my pocket or cable get snagged on something and rips cable out of camera. This tethering device is perfect. It was exactly what I wanted! I would recommend this tethering device for charging on the go or connecting to a computer.

Solid construction that holds cables securely. This is an excellent product! And its MUCH cheaper (about ? the price) than the similar tether block from tether tools. Plus this one also serves as an Arca Swiss plate to connect to your tripod. I can't imagine why anyone would get the tether tools product when this option is available from a similarly reputable manufacturer.

This is a plate that can be screed directly on the Spider Pro Tether. One can put the camera on a Arca type tripod head without having to remove the Spider plate. Furthermore, one can also attach one side (or both) of the camera strap on it. Very well designed and sturdy.

Great product. strain relief for cables not just computer tether also cable release/usb/power/hdmi/video/gps adapter/external flash/etc The eyelets are perfect fo connecting non spider wrist straps ie PD arca swiss tripod mount Good solid connection to spider pro plate zero movement possible 2 x 1/4 screws Problem - designed for new spider pro plate only not original, advertising is incorrect Modification - reducing the height of the raised anti twist stop will allow the plate to mount flat and flush 5 min filling This product protects the plugs and sockets on the camera and cables taking up no more space than a normal arca-swiss tripod plate Highly recommended
