I like the ability to carry a small tripod on my SpiderHolster belt, but I tried it on one with small diameter legs and the cushion slipped out and since it?s not adjustable to small diameters, it doesn?t grip well.

Use on larger legs

works just fine, but using the spider monkey to hold a tripod is easier and lower profile if your tripod is light enough. Would also be nicer to be able to adjust the tripod carry angle more: as is there are only two options.

I attach one to each camera I carry. The belt is the easiest way (for me) to carry an extra camera or lens. I purchased my first Spider holster many years ago and I 've added one to each of my cameras. Quality product that has been improved over the years. I kept losing the allen wrench from the first model. The next model addressed the issue with a spring loaded holder for the wrench. Very heavy duty high quality product.

Great product

Excellent product, however delivery charge must be taken into account when considering cost of item. My repeated requests for a more economic delivery service were completely ignored.

Spider camera holster

I don't always carry a monopod, but do own one which can also function as a walking stick and wanted a way to bring it "in case" I wanted to use it with camera or hiking. Well, this tripod carrier works great since adjusting the balance point to my liking. I also like that it can be used with my Spiderlight-belt system or just with the belt clip...and at a restaurant, just fold the monopod and clip it in with the tripod carrier. Convenience multiplied.

Works for monopods, too

This setup is better then I was using. In fact I like it much better. I bought two, reasonably priced.

Perhaps the best way to carry any tripod, since your waist/hips provide ample support in conjunction with the holster.
