Shopper : How would this be mounted on a piano?
mike s : How is this mic mounted in the base drum? Do other companies make a similar product? I think I remember seeing another similar looking mic that was suspended inside the base drum with cables attached to the drums hardware screws.ANDREW R : One suggested mounting method is indicated in the user guide: "Inside drum, on a pillow or other cushioning surface, 25 to 152 mm (1 to 6 in.) from beater head."
