The packaging was convenient with screws placed in with its corresponding part, though a couple of screws were missing. The top plate, in my opinion, is too large and clunky adding unnecessary weight and is not the best looking appearance wise. The red tightening knob is a hair too long and hits the top of the tripod head. Yes, it has the pull out then turn option, but it's a pain. The best part is the HDMI cord protection attachment. In conclusion, this is one of the only cage options with a rod mount that's available right now, so if you need one, it's very worth it.
