The Shape Panasonic Lumix S1R/S1 cage is targeted at filmmakers, videographers and photographers who want a simple, hassle-free and ergonomic cage design that really works. Specifically designed for the Panasonic Lumix S1R/S1 cameras, the form-fitting cage offers additional protection and securely locks the camera to the cage. It also provides easy access to all controls and ports as well as multiple attachment points for accessories.

The Shape Panasonic Lumix S1R/S1 Cage enables easy access to all the camera's features such as the control buttons, the side outputs, the memory card, the battery compartment and the lens release button, allowing you to save time while shooting. Further, the support between the lens and the camera grip is designed to anticipate a clearing for the fingers when the camera is handheld, allowing an ergonomic grip.

You can install the camera in the cage with a 1/4-20 screw integrated into the cage, with the 1/4-20 Allen key secured under the cage with magnets. The bottom of the cage provides the user with (4) 1/4-20 and (1) 3/8-16 threaded holes for quick release tripod plate attachment. The position is secured to the back and sides of the cage, so it doesn't move forward when equipped with a heavier lens. You can also attach a delta plate adapter underneath the cage to mount it on a quick release plate to rapidly switch from a tripod to a handheld setup.

Additionally, all the doors and latches are fully operable when the camera is in the cage. Its easy-to-use and clever design enables you to operate the camera without having to remove the cable doors and the strap hooks can remain attached to the camera while inserted in the cage. It is also equipped with an effective cable retainer system for all three of the left side cables to secure their use. The cage is also compatible with a full-sized HDMI cable protector lock to secure the use of your HDMI 4K cable. By leaving an open access to the hot shoe on top of the camera, you can install the Panasonic audio unit.

You can mount many accessories using several mounting options including (1) cold shoe mount located on the top of the cage as well as (2) Arri Standard 3/8"-16 anti-rotating hole pattern and 1/4-20 threaded mounting holes. Made from CNC machined aluminum, the cage allows the camera to be held securely in place and restricts it from rotating by being attached with two anti-rotating tabs at the front.

Quick Release Rod Base System and Metabones Adapter
The cage is connected to its base via the new Shape Quick Release Rod Base System using a specifically designed 15mm rod bloc system for the optical center of the Panasonic Lumix S1R/S1 camera. It allows quick mounting and dismounting of the camera and the cage can easily snap in and be quickly removed from its 15mm LW base by pressing the release button at the rear of the mount for handheld shooting. A pair of Shape 15mm 10" Aluminum Rods (15TUBE10) connect into your camera rig, extend it and let you add various Shape and third-party accessories compatible with 15mm rods.

With these two rods and with a few fundamental accessories, you can most certainly even begin building your own rig from scratch. The rods are each 15mm in diameter, 10 inches long, hollow, non-threaded and made of reliable aluminum coated with a clear finish. Changing the lens or adding a Metabones Adapter can be done easily while keeping the camera in the cage.

Shape created a removable Metabones Adapter Support Bracket specifically designed for the Panasonic Lumix S1R/S1 camera that is integrated in the cage. Fixed with 2 screws, the bracket's height is easily adjustable and provides 15mm of vertical adjustment. It supports the weight and reduces the stress on the camera lens mount. When there is no Metabones Adapter, simply unscrew the 1/4"-20 screw to quickly remove the bracket.

Wooden Push-Button Top Handle
The ergonomic and easily removable Shape Top Handle was designed to provide the required space for mounting the Panasonic Lumix S1R/S1 Audio Unit. It offers a comfortable and secure wooden grip for carrying your camera and securing accessories. It also features the Shape Push-Button Technology, enabling you to balance the weight and rotate the handle in the position you need for a 360-degree axis. Shape is well known for its patented Push-button handle, now used by so many professionals in the industry.

The technology was developed to give filmmakers quick and easy adjustment. By simply pressing the button, you are allowed a 360-degree rotation to place the handle in the best position for your use. Push, adjust, release and then its locked. This nicely crafted Push-Button Top Handle provides multiple mounting options, including ARRI Standard 3/8"-16 anti-rotating hole patterns on the top, Shape Standard 1/4"-20 anti-rotating hole patterns on the top and side, cold shoe mounts and a 3/8"-16 UNC threaded hole at the front.

The Shape Rod Clamp at the front (15CTH) can be added, allowing you to directly mount a 15mm rod onto the handle. Made of CNC Aluminum, the 15mm LW Clamp (15CTH) can be easily attached to the top Handle. The clamp is designed to support a 15mm rod such as the Shape REVOLT EVF Mount Bracket. The ratchet knob clamp lets you adjust and strongly fix the position of the 15mm rod to the Shape Top Handle and (2) cold shoe mounts, one at the front of the handle and one at the back.

Quick handle rod bloc (HAND5)
The Shape Quick handle rod bloc is a professional video stabilization accessory with 2 camera handle grips, each providing an individual rotation angle of 360 deg. . You can attach the handle to the camera platform using a simple screw knob. A simple Push-Button located at the articulation allows easy attachment and removal. Combined with the anodized aluminum rod bloc, the quick handle offers composite camera support for all 15mm rods. You can achieve precise positioning by sliding the Quick Handle along the rods and tightening the small red knob located on the Rod Bloc.

Composite mini shoulder pad (SHPAD3)
The Shape mini composite shoulder pad is padded for superior comfort and is made of slip-free material. It is designed with a 15mm rod block on top allowing to hold 15mm rods for camera and accessories to be attached. The screw knob allows to attach Shape counter-weight (PAD1, PADCW1). By adding extra male-female rods at the back, you can also attach a counter-weight behind the same rods. This way, your body can easily supports the weight of the camera and its accessories. The shoulder pad is also the perfect solution for switching rapidly from shoulder to tripod without having to remove the shoulder pad. It can remain on the camera rig permanently.

Back pad (PAD1)
The back pad (PAD1) features a powder coated anodized aluminum plate and arm which are attached to a thick padding on the side facing the user. It is compatible with the Shape Mini Composite Shoulder Pad (SHPAD3, SHPAD2, SHPAD1) and can be attach or remove easily from your rig via a 1/4-20 camera screw knob. Additionally, the back pad's position can be adjusted to the user's preference up to 2" vertically and 360 deg. horizontally. The bottom of the back pad is designed with (2) 1/4-20 threaded holes, allowing to attach other accessories or counterweights.
