Equipped with Shure's built-in IntelliMix DSP audio processing, the MXWAPX4 offers automatic mixing, echo cancellation, noise reduction, automatic gain control, and EQ, delivering pristine audio quality. The Automatic Frequency Management system intelligently scans the spectrum to select a clear channel and can automatically switch channels to avoid interference, ensuring uninterrupted performance.

Installation is streamlined with Power over Ethernet (PoE), which supplies both power and Dante digital networked audio through a single Ethernet cable. The dual RJ45 connections support three network operation modes Switched, Split, or Redundant providing flexibility in network configuration. The included mounting plate and paintable cover facilitate discreet installation on ceilings or walls, making it ideal for boardrooms and conference rooms where aesthetics are important.

The MXWAPX4 supports two-way wireless transmission, allowing remote control of audio settings and the transmission of secondary program audio to each transmitter. It is expandable to accommodate up to 40 channels in Standard-Density mode or 80 channels in High-Density mode, making it suitable for large-scale audio setups. Security is a priority, with support for standards-based protocols such as 802.1x, secure boot/storage, and AES encryption to safeguard both wired and wireless control and audio data.

Selectable RF output power enables optimization of spectrum usage by adjusting the wireless output power to suit the desired operating range. Diagnostic LEDs provide a clear visual reference for system activity, indicating power, wireless connection, and network audio status. Additionally, a comprehensive user interface (CUI) can be accessed on a PC connected to the same network, allowing for detailed device optimization and user-specific settings.
