Perfect vocal

Sound quality++ Vocal++ Bass- but I am not a base fan. The biggest problem is that the cable behind ear is too hard.

All hypes but don't deliver

Quality is not what it hyped to be. Wire cable produces cracking sounds right out of the box; although the bluetooth cable works fine. , the cable clip broke after two days of usage (made of cheap plastics). The wired cables makes crackling sounds right out from the box. I called Shure customer service and one of the tech (forget the name) told me that he did not have the cable at the moment but will send out a replacement as soon as he has one coming in a couple weeks. and I don't need to return the broken cable. I told him that please send the replacement cable within a month because I am heading to work oversea and will not be able to return the unit. He took down my name and address and more than a month later, nothing happened. Cannot return the product now because I am in Asia. I emailed Shure product support and he told me they have no record that they promise to replace the broken cable and I need to send in the old cable so that they will replace it. Hello!! I am working in Asia for the next 4 months and don't carry broken cable with me. For a $500 earphone and I have to jump through loops for a $35 cable, which broke right out of the box? What happened to the quality control of a high end product???? What happened to customer service and stand behind your high end product? Shure customer service is a joke! The sound quality is not that great what as some people hyped in the review here. I can get same if not better for a $150 Bose earphone. Do NOT wasting your hard earned money for an inferior products with zero customer service and next to nothing product warranty. Do yourself a favor and get something else because you will get screwed if your product is defected.

Shure SE535 LTD -- Expensive but good!

I bought these pricey earphones with no small amount of trepidation over spending so much when most of us (me included) are used to viewing earphones as something cheap and almost disposable. Well, I've put that notion to rest. Yes, they are earphones, but the sound quality is unlike superior to anything I've ever experienced from any of the cheap earphones I've owned in the past -- including ones from Apple. I've just submitted an order to Sensaphonics for custom-fit earpieces, which will raise the price but improve the comfort and sound quality even further. If you appreciate hi-fidelity music and want the convenience of small earphones vs. big headphones -- especially for travel, etc. -- these are hard to beat.

Excellent IEM

Fantastic for travelling, especially using Comply foam ear-plug on the plane. Very balance with wide spacious soundstage. Crystal clear treble, sweet mids, and great tight solid bass (not booming base at all).

I preferred my 425's

I lost my 425 and thought this would be a good replacement. It is good, but the price difference is definitely not justified. And I preferred bass of 425 more. Oh well. Plus, the special "red" version cable is relatively flimsy and does not go behind your neck as in 425. I liked having cable out of my way.

Beautiful sound, cable leaves a lot to be desired

Sound is beautiful. Clear improvement from SE215 & SE315. However, the included remote control cables are thin, flimsy, and with no rigid metal wires. i am using the headphones with the regular thicker cable from the SE315.

Best sounding most comfortable I have ever had

These headphones are awesome. They also come with a super long cord which is very convenient.
