Great mic and with the rode caster options best I?ve heard one could still use a cloud lifter to get even more power but I have not gone thru a full gain stage to see what options are viable with the rode caster. Definitely glad I went with these over other cheaper option or bundles.

Really versatile and amazing microphone.
I would recommend this to vocalists who are looking for a clear, responsive sounding microphone that excells at recording vocals.
Do take note that you should at least have 60 DB of gain to get a good sound out of this.

Best Mic on the Market
This is hands-down the best mic on the market. We use it for voiceovers on videos and for podcasts. If you are looking to up-level your audio, then you need Shure SM7B mic. NOTE: You cannot plug this mic into a computer via USB like the Yeti and others. You need other professional equipment like the Cloudlifter and Scarlett 2i2.

World Class Mic
Shure creates products that are world class in audio. The SM7B continues to live up to their reputation, if not setting a new standard altogether. Purchased during the lockdown of COVID19, my video conferencing calls have reached new heights - no one complains about being able to hear me properly, and the quality of my audio is natural and warm. As a podcaster and musician, this mic has definitely raised the bar for my recordings, and editing audio is a breeze when your source material is so good!
Adorama shipped this mic the day I purchased it and I received it two days later. Definitely appreciate the fast delivery!

Love the looks of this but opted to keep my Rode PodMic instead, since it's hundreds of dollars less and for my voice, it didn't really add anything vs. what I already had. If you're after looks and need to keep up with the Rogans of the world, go ahead!

Even to the untrained ear...
I expected to be disappointed in spending the extra for these mics. My other mics worked and sounded great (so I thought) and had they not been out of stock I would have bought more of them. I’m not a pro level sound engineer by any stretch of the imagination so when I first plugged the Shure SM78 into my board and listened to myself in the headphones I was absolutely blown away. Even to the untrained ear these are by far the most amazing studio mics I’ve ever had. I’m extremely happy with them.

Fantastic microphone
Fantastic microphone. Warm, quiet, and transparent. I love that it is very forgiving with changes in vocal dynamics. It is a time saver, too; Recording vocals with this mic leaves me a lot less work in the mix. It requires a lot of gain so you’ll need an interface that can deliver that, or a dedicated mic pre. Very happy with this purchase.

A definite must have.
Mic is a classic and solid pick up for anyone looking to record at home where treated environments aren’t guaranteed. Power can be an issue, but if you have a decent interface and make sure to eliminate other electronic devices on that circuit, you’ll have a crystal clear podcast quality audio signal. Fantastic mic.

An easy win
I was previously using shotgun mics for capturing audio at my desk, but this thing has so much presence for the vocal range, and is very good at rejecting audio coming in from the wrong direction.
