Expensive for what it is but if you need it, you don't really have a choice unless you go for a knock off one which supposedly does not fit as good. The threads are pretty tight maybe by design and require a bit of force to screw in. I was afraid I would strip the thread but it may be designed that way to make sure it stays tight? Not sure. It is tight enough that I am comfortable no using loctite on it. Note that the ball on this is rounded compared to the slightly flattened head on the pins that came with my SpiderHolster v1 kit.

I needed a new pin since I somehow lost my old one. I get great use of my holster and really enjoy using it.

After days of contemplation. This product won and I have no regrets. I have since bought another holster and four more pins. I have one in the body, one in the 200 macro, one in the 70-200, I onle wish the 24-70 had a mount and waiting on the next body. These lenses are heavy and the belt allows me to walk with them and not have to lug the bag. Great product. No regrets.
