Love how it goes around the waist and relieves pressure off your back. I have had a problem with the locking mechanism holding the camera. It only locks it in part of the time. I was kneeling down taking a low picture and the camera came out of the holster and fell on the rocks. The screen of my camera got a scratch on it, but no harm to the lens. After that I made sure I locked the camera in the holster.

I have the new RF 70-200 2.8 and the RF 28-70 2.0 (which is huge) and each of these fits into the large pouch without the lens hoods (which is fine for me). Just wanted to counter some of the negative reviews saying it's too small - it's not if you have new high end RF glass.

Convenience, to carry, change lenses, protect lenses is what I am hoping to fulfil with Large Lens Pouch. I will be using it for Nikon Z 70-200 and Nikon Z 100-400 lens. I have a picatinny rail on both which I attach to a Wimberly mount on monopod. The lens fits the pouch with picatinny rail without fully doing up zipper and rain hood provides added protection and method of ensuring it does not fall out. Fits lens with polarizer and doubler without hood. I believe it will work stellar for those low mileage stalks of birds and game. The pouch and lens will go into backpack in tough terrain. I have previously used think tank digital holster for DSLR and LowePro lens exchange case which have taken me through China, Tanzania, Rhine and Danube Rivers, Europe, Machu Picchu, Galapagos and Antarctica. This pouch is less bulky and I am hoping will fulfil most if not all applications. Hood reversed pouch works but is a bit tight on 100-400. Would be interested in a larger diameter model to accommodate hood (not reversed) and doubler (length) Thank you for asking! I will pickup the backpack kit this week from my US mailbox in view of putting together a hands free ease of access system for field. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Ken

I use the two camera holster. This system provides excellent weight distribution on the hips, easy access to the cameras and great safety features.

This product is well made as is everything by Spyder. However, the large lens pouch is not large enough to accommodate my Canon RF 70-200 f/2.8 lens. Very disappointing.

The squarish bottom construction is odd, considering the lens is round, but it gets the job done and is nice and sturdy!!!!

Having the lens pouch on the belt instead of the backpack makes the change much more efficient.

I bought this for a trip to Oregon. I wore it on a long hike with elevation gain. Having the pouch allowed me to take the lens with me comfortably. It was secure, didn't bounce around and almost felt weightless. The tether on the lens cap handy! Glad I make the purchase.

I'm a photojournalist/wedding & event photog. I was SO looking forward to my spider holster and the ability to put my 70-200mm lens in a pouch when I switch lenses. I work with 3 lenses typically and 2 bodies. Unfortunately my Canon 70-200mm with tripod mount, lens shade and the lens collar plate does not fit in the lens pouch. You cannot zip the pouch closed, and of course while working having to remove the lens collar plate everytime isn't reasonable. This seems like a complete oversight for a product that otherwise seems great. Spider Holster seemed to not measure with all of the accessories including their own when they designed the pouch.

the only problem I have is that I have Tamron 70-200 2.8 and the pouch is a little small or to tight for this lens.

I love the pouch. It is perfect for when I want to have two lenses available to me (one on my camera attached to my Spider belt) and one in the pouch. I then can avoid having to take a camera bag. I have used the pouch with my Sony 100-400. It is really well designed.

The large lens pouch is well made and I love the weather cover. It was a little snug - would have liked a bit more roominess since it tended to pull on the lens hood which was already getting too loose.

I gave this a 4 star because it has one challenge with a 24-200mm lens...it is hard to get in and out with the hood on. Other than that this whole set up ia great for hands free working with clients on location and in studio. I can be more hands on and very movable I love my spider set up!!!!!

Nice to be able to "saddle" a large lens on your body without having to hang something huge on your Back or Elsewhere. Pouch is handy and , I like the fact my Lens is Close, Handy, and Protected! It also fits most Belts!

Great idea and concept - using a side zipper means you don't have to lift your 70-200 up around your armpits to load it into the pouch. Unfortunately for me, I can't use it as it doesn't fit my Pentax DFA 70-200 2.8, AKA Tamron 70-200 2.8 The lens (& hood) must be slightly larger in diameter than the equivalent canon / nikon lenses. If only the pouch was a fraction bigger I could use it.

Excellent product. 4 stars because this is for a Sigma 70-200mm lens at 82mm dia so it is tight fit with the hood. My 77mm lens fits real nice though

Got this for my Canon 70-200 f/4 and it fits perfectly. I love the cord that comes attached to the pouch that holds the rear end cap of the lens...genius.

Fits my 70-200mm Lens perfectly. Even if you have the lens hood on, the rain cover will make up for those extra few inches of length and cover it up still!

Used it on a recent photojournalism trip to the Amazon. held my 70-200mm zoom lens securely and kept it out of the rain while my other lens was on my camera. It was easy to get the lens in and out of the pouch.

The expandable zipper design facilitates effortless, one-handed lens exchanges, enabling photographers to maintain their focus on capturing the perfect shot without fumbling with their gear.
The pouch's innovative tether system is a standout feature, cleverly securing your rear lens cap so it's always within reach, eliminating the hassle of searching for it in the midst of a shoot. Additionally, the pouch includes a dust and rain cover for the top opening, providing an extra layer of protection against environmental contaminants. This cover can be conveniently folded back when the weather is clear, ensuring quick and unobstructed access to your lens.
Compatibility is key, and the SpiderPro Large Lens Pouch is designed to integrate seamlessly with Spider Belts. With its convenient features and large capacity, the SpiderPro Large Lens Pouch stands out as a superior choice for professionals who demand the best in gear organization and lens protection.
