This is advertised as being big enough for a 24-70, but it is an extremely tight fit for for my Nikon Z 24-70 2.8 S. It definitely does not fit with the lens hood attached, and even with the lens hood off, it takes some work to get it in and out. It certainly does not allow for quick lens swaps. It is a nice build quality, but it does not match the performance I was looking for and advertised. I now use it to hold my prime lenses.

The more I use it, the more I like it and appreciate the design. Primary use will be for Hiking, backpacking, daily walks, travel and ? zodiac excursions. As with any new to me Product am working through what and how I will put to best use. I also have Large size And am equally happy with it. The zipper front allows me to leave the tripod collar and foot Attached to lens which makes it a convenient handle in extracting lens. Now to sort out Backpacker And whether I need a second one. Thankyou for a fine product! Keep Safe! Ken

I just bought my second holster. I am a beach portrait photographer and do portraits 7 nights a week. I take my pouch on and off EVERY night. The velcro just wore out. AFTER 8 years of on-off, on-off, salt air, on-off. I had a hard time tossing it because it was like an old baseball hat.

I love the spider holster and lens pouch. Very pleased: comfortable, takes the weight off my back, keeps my hands free.

I know this is for a lens but since I already carry two cameras I've found it more useful to keep my Profoto speedlight in there. Super hand access and the rain cover provides a little extra security without impeding quick access. I also appreciate that I can slide the pouch between the buckle and the holster to make it easier to either squat down or access my pant pockets as needed. If I don't need the storage for flash or lens, then a water bottle would fit perfectly as well.

My work has been so much more relaxed since I am not concerned about setting my $3000 camera on a chair or the ground as I work.

The medium lens pouch specs say it will take lenses up to 4.5" diameter, which is optimistic, or perhaps "just barely and stretching the zipper", though the build quality seems good overall. A Fuji 50-140mm with lens hood and low-profile Hejnar foot is under 4.5" and the zipper closes but is clearly stressed closing it. A Fuji 100-400mm with lens hood is also under 4.5" diameter but the zipper won't close at all. Even without the lens hood it won't close with a foot attatched. Unfortunately getting a large bag won't help because it is longer but not wider. I would limit this bag to Fuji 80mm macro and smaller lenses. The Fuji 50-140mm (for which I bought this bag) is iffy but likely to pull out the zipper over time. If this bag was a half inch wider and the large bag an inch wider, the larger lenses with hood and foot would fit in the bags.

I've had one for years and it has been perfect for our wedding day shooting. Fits multiple kinds of lenses and isn't too bulky. Couldn't imagine shooting without it!

I got the Spiderpro Medium Lens Pouch (from Spider Camera) to use for my Fuji 50-140mm lens with hood and Hejnar Low Profile Foot attached, so widest diameter is about 4-5/16 and it *barely* fits but the zipper is clearly being stressed and will likely fail because of the stress, though Spider specs say it will hold lenses up to 4.5 diameter. Also tried the Fuji 100-400 but the lens hood won't fit despite being under 4.5; without the lens hood, the zipper still won't close. Going to their large lens pouch gives more length but the diameter is still 4.5, so too narrow. I would use the Spiderpro medium lens pouch for Fuji 80mm macro and smaller lenses, or other lenses 4 or smaller diameter including lens hood, perhaps a max of 4.25 diameter but test it first. Bear in mind, the base of the case is a v-shape so it can fold flat, thus the wider the lens the less it will fit the full length of the pouch. For the Fuji 50-140mm or even the 100-400mm(snug), the Lowenpro S&F Lens Exchange Case 200 AW works very well.

A bit pricey, but then you are purchasing the best bag in the business. This is the third Spider pouch I have purchased. I won't have any other.

I use this pouch and its bigger sister when I need to carry an extra lens while walking around. It is flexible enough that I can find a comfortable position on my holster belt and am able to carry the extra lens for hours at a time with no problem. It has made it so that I no longer need to decide what lens to use when heading out for a day.

Good match with the spider hostler, fair quality and looks good however it's a bit overpriced.

Strong pouch, the Velcro holds it very well. I feel quite safe with it on my Spider Holster and there is no way this will come off. The lens is well protected and the pouch even has a little rain hood. Highly recommend this product.

Very useful - though the canon 24-70 2.8 bit of a tight squeeze when trying to put lens in one-handed.

I usually shoot with 2 bodies and 3 lenses. This bag has enabled me to stop running back to my roller, or laying my extra lens on a chair. Very versatile. Can hold my 70-200 when necessary. Great quality.

Nothing can be more annoying than trying to wrestle my 55-3oomm Pentax zoom lens out of my pocket in a hurry. It inevitably gets snagged on something, and consequently, quick shots can be lost. This little bag holds the lens safely and is very easy to extract. I like the cap keeper tether for the body-side cap, I would be sure to lose it without this thoughtful addition. I use my pouch in conjunction with my Spider holster. Together, instead of hanging a heavy camera off my neck with the attendant discomfort, I simply wear my equipment very conveniently around my waist. It is perhaps a bit bigger than it has to be for my usage, however, that's a lot better than being too small. There is a hood which covers the top and protects the lens from the elements while still allowing quick access. Great product, recommended for anyone who wants to keep his or her lens convenient and safe.

I like the concept of the bag, I just wish they made one that was a little smaller. I purchased this for my Tamron 24-70 2.8 lens, thinking that the medium would work with it. Unfortunately, even the flare hood attached, it's still a bit too large. Otherwise it's a great product and a great idea for a lens case. Just be aware that their definition of medium, in my opinion, is not really the case.
