This is a well made bottle holder. But...always a but...it will only fit a store bought bottle of water. I tried putting my 16oz Nalgene bottle in it. I did manage to get it in but it was very hard to get out to unscrew the top. I guess the whole idea is to unclip it to drink since it's awkward to get the water bottle out too. Overall though, I am happy I got it & it will be put to good use. I would recommend purchasing it with knowledge of the above constraints.

I like the idea of this product but my hydro flask won't fit into the holster. I am going to have to go buy a new water bottle. Maybe you can make a holster that can accommodate the popular hydro flask. If you do, please advertise and I will buy another that can accommodate my hydro flask. I was going to buy several for friends, but will hold off until you offer a larger size. Thank you, DL Rose

Too Small for my hydro flask

Would have liked this to be a bit larger/adjustable to accommodate water containers such as you would attach to a bicycle. Seems to only be big enough for store-bought plastic "bottled water".

Only the right size for "store-bought" water.

Works fine: holds a water bottle. Button placement makes it impossible to draw one handed with a reasonably sized reusable bottle. Also it would be nice if there were some non stick rubber or material inside the bottle holder so that the bottle wouldn't slip out as easily. Finally the bottle holder should be a bit bigger to accommodate reusable bottles.

Great water holder! Purchased it to clip on the strap of my bag and it works well. Easy to clip on and off. Very sturdy as well.

This handy bottle holder is a durable, easy to use, well designed product. It attaches to the belt so it puts no stress on my back and leaves my hands free for poles. I love it. I have used Spider camera holsters for years... they are always durable and well designed. I have contacted Spider a couple of times with questions-- the responses are detailed, quick and cordial. Five stars for products and five stars for customer service.

Excellent Product, Highly Recommend

Iit takes every drinking bottle or vacuum flask I posses. Fits all my belts and even hangs on my trolleys, delighted.

A good and very flexible tool

Great addition to my belt, I put a 20 oz insulated bottle in it. Life saver at a 14 hr shoot on a 95 degree day. Love the clip and the release so the clip stays on the belt.

This holder is very tight fitting on a small plastic water bottle which I guess it was designed for. I use double walled stainless steel bottles most the time and found just one thin bottle that could barely squeeze in. No chance of a 18oz Yeti or Rtic type bottle fitting. I understand you don't want the bottle falling out but because there is a draw cord top it would have been nice to have it a bit larger diameter. Or a possible larger size option. The clip on belt idea is great and works well making it easy to detach and clip on again. I've used other type bottle holders that you just slip the bottle out of the holder which I think works better for me. Unless you are really rough trail running this very tight fitting holder has less use for myself and limits what type of bottle can be jammed in.

Handy

I had a hard time squeezing a disposable plastic water bottle into the neoprene sleeve, enough that I probably would give up using it if I had to do that every time I started a fresh bottle. It definitely looked a lot snugger than in the photo. I had a *really* hard time getting my reusable 16oz water bottle in there, but at least I only have to do that once. For now I'm washing the inside only of that bottle while trying not to get the neoprene too wet. So I think at least an extra 1/4" diameter sleeve would help without any bottles falling out, and there's still always the drawstring to snug around any bottles that aren't securely hugged by the neoprene. Otherwise, I love the convenience of having my hands free while still keeping my water handy while I work. It works well clipped onto my belt, but 16oz of water is too heavy to clip onto weekend clothes.

A little larger would be helpful

Great convenient device....Used this along with the small spider attachment for my camera and made the journey through Disney easy and hands free. Loved it.

Water Bottle Holder

I bought one of these from a local camera store. I also had one from another popular manufacturer. The stitching tore out of that other brand, but one year of *hard* use and my Spide water holder is still going great. Now I need a new one to replace that other brand. It did take practice before I could easily clip my water. At first I would get my shirt caught in the clip. But now it is instinct... no thought needed at all.

One year in and still like it

Good clips for belt hanging. Doesn't acommodate really fat bottles but certainly good enough size. Can also be used for other incidentals. Neoprene construction, seems durable.
