It's been weeks with no ETA for the microphone cables. We are unable to use the equipment and Adormama has not provided a substitute item or help.

The Shure SM58 exceeds the perfornance of mics that come packaged with P A and other audio equipment that you buy as a package. It compares very favorably in terms of audio performance with an Audio Technica AT2035 which I also purchased recently. The reputation of the SM58 for build quality is well earned. It proves you don't need to spend several hundred dollars for reference audio performance.

This microphone is the perfect combination between presence and feedback rejection. It has a slight cut around 7khz and the highs are rolled off around 15khz. Use it for those not so pleasant voices that are loud or ear piercing and it works wonders on male falsetto as well. This mic is very forgiving on a sick or hoarse voice, it's no wonder bands on long tours have been using it for decades. I give it 4 stars because there is no perfect microphone for every voice, however, this one gets close. I highly recommend it!
