The Sirchie 2 x 2" Fingerprint Hinge Lifter (Black) is a pre-assembled device, which combines the lifting medium of 5 mil (.005") clear acetate coated with acrylic adhesive and a 10 mil (.010") backing sheet of black vinyl. By hinging the two together, you can lift, seal and protect fragile latent prints - all in one. Immediate comparisons may be made with suspect prints or it can be used directly for contact prints or enlargements.
