The Swarovski Optik Z6i 5-30x50 P L 2nd Generation BT Riflescope (Illuminated 4A-I Reticle ) comes with an Illuminated 4A-I Reticle in the 2nd focal plane and the addition of a Ballistic Turret (BT). It has a side parallax turret, a large objective of 50mm and a very powerful magnification range of 5-30x. These specifications make it particularly suitable for long-range target acquisition when high magnification is needed to bring the game up-close into the cross hair. The large objective increases the light transmission that's necessary at dawn or dusk or on a gray cloudy day when the game is more abundant and the cry of the hunt drowns out the catastrophe of the climate.

The 5-30x50 P BT L Z6i scope has a smooth aluminum tube that accommodates ring mounting. The tactile ribbing on the power ring has been made larger, affording an easier slip-proof grasp. It's rugged and dependable with a nitrogen purged tube for fogproofing and is waterproof to over 13 feet. High Definition (HD) glass minimizes chromatic aberration thereby delivering greater color fidelity. This Z6i has a 4A-I in the second focal plane so that the reticle size stays constant even though the target size increases with the zoom magnification. It has a 30mm tube and a matte black finish. An especially accurate and customizable feature is the addition of the Ballistic Turret (BT) to this riflescope. The BT allows repeatable, long range accuracy and user defined distance settings.

The Z6i has been re-engineered into the Z6i 2nd Generation - making an already great scope even greater. The illumination housing has been redesigned into a lower, slimmer form factor with smoother edges while the controls have been made so that there is less chance of being accidentally turned off. Whenever the rifle is not in a shooting position, Swarolight technology takes over, automatically turning the reticle illumination off/on and greatly extending battery life.
