I used it first time and it was great. I wish it has different head where I can tilt. It was very light to carry around.

Great monopod. I use it to support D500 with 70-200 lense for shooting my kids sporting events. It is light easy to adjust and I equipped it with manfrotto 234 tilt head mount for more flexibility.

Well built, light but there is s big problem. You can't replace the spike. The spike is exposed by turning the rubber tip. It on;y extends about 3/8" past the rubber tips which means the rubber will be taking a beating, especially in loose aggregate. At that point you will have more spike exposed but the spike will be exposed all the time. Only solution then is to use a crutch tip. If the spike breaks there is no solution.Write your review here. It must be at least 10 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.

I have had this for some time now and I am still glad I purchased this particular one. I have used it for indoor chorus concerts and it has never failed me. I coupled it with the vanguard ball head and at times walking out to my car, made sure I hand carry it for protection. It is solidly well built.

The Sirui P-326 Monopod is very easy to use. The section locking mechanism is extremely easy to use. One quarter turn to the left and let the leg drop. Then one quarter turn to the right to lock it in place. Repeat with the other legs until the desired height is reached. It is very rigid and light. Add a Vanguard ball-head and got an excellent travel Monopod.

I read a lot of reviews in search of a monopod to help take steadier photos using my 100-400 Canon Telephoto Lens. The Sirui P-326 6 Section Carbon Fiber Monopod is everything it's cracked up to be. Really helps to take a steady load off when shooting.

So far it is working well. I need more time to practice with it. Hope to take it with me on a trip where I can seldom use a tripod.

A very nice mobilisation. The leg locks stick a little. A ball head is useful.

My old mono was injured during a football game, had to put it out of its misery. This time picked up a metal mono and should stand up better the next time I get run over on the sidelines. But I did get the TD pic.

Purchased recently, I can't speak to long term durability, but very solid carbon fiber monopod. I paired with the Sirui monopod L-10 tilt head. Looking forward to working with it more. Very light weight and compact, but certainly long enough for 6 footers even without extending fully.

I am strictly a hobbyist with my photography. I purchased a large/heavy lens and needed a strong support pod. This is everything the sales rep. said it would be. It compacts to a very convenient travel size and is very light to pack. I'm quite sure this will be a keeper!

After using this for a couple of weeks I live it. It is small and compact so I always take it with me. I use it with a Nikon D7100 and a Tamron 150-600 mm lens and have had no problems. I would recommend this and I would buy it again.

Used with the 3Pod H1 ballhead and my Nikon D800 with the Sigma 150-600 telephoto lens to shoot a kids football game. Was perfect for the job. Pictures were crisp.

The Angry Photographer was right again, there's no reason to spend big bucks in order to get a superlative monopod. I don't see how anyone could improve on this unit for build quality, ergonomics or value. I'm sorry that I didn't know about this before I spent way too much on my tripod...

I bought the Sirui Monopod for both travel and hiking when I don't want or can't take a tripod. I've only had it a few weeks, but have tried it out and had my camera with heaviest lens on it, ILC about two pounds I chose the Sirui P-326 because it is Carbon , under a pound in weight and just under 16" when folded. The plate is designed to hold a tripod head or the screw is easily reversed to add the camera directly onto the monopod. Fully extended, the monopod is 60". I'm 5' 5" and have found that I won't need the last extension. The bottom has a nice rubber foot with a spiked foot that extends or retracts with a simple twist. I have an extra Sirui tripod head that I'm planning to take when traveling. I'll keep the head and monopod separate for ease in packing and carrying in my bag, putting the two together when using or carrying strapped to the bag. I will add the price was also a factor and I felt that the Sirui at just under $100 was a reasonable purchase. The monopod looks and feels very substantial and I'm amazed when I pick it up and realize how light it is.

This very light and compact monopod has everything I look for in a monopod. My first priority, when hiking or at a sporting event, is to keep the amount of equipment I am carrying to a minimum. This monopod fits nicely in my small camera bag's monopod compartment and is so light you never have to leave it home to keep your equipment load to a minimum. The quality seems excellent and I expect many years of service. On a recent tript to Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix, the monopod was more than adequate.

Purchased this monopod for a trip to Peru with a mirrorless camera and lenses. The camera died prior to Macchu Picchu, but someone loaned a point and shoot with extreme zoom for the day. On top of the monopod it provided a great hiking pole with easy access to the camera. The rubber tip allowed it's use on the site at Macchu Picchu, tripods are not allowed generally. I got envious looks and comments from other travelers who were trying to jockey cameras and hiking poles. Folds down to a small size that slips into the water bottle holder of my backpack, and has a carabiner to attach to the backpack for extra stability. Light, small, sturdy, what more could you want? I did not use a head but will for any other camera. I did not find it difficult to set up.

I use my SIRUI P-326 with my Gimbal head attached for my Sigma 150-500mm and D5100 while out in my boat, much lighter and more compact and quicker than tri-pod, very quick to set-up while sitting or standing. Great for grandsons baseball games no need to fumble around with tri-pod, just set-up camera on SIRUI P-326, and shoot away. Getting much sharper photos. Very sturdy, light weight, and easy to lock sections. Very happy! Oh! and the spike on the end works great, very strong don't have to worry about wearing out the rubber end when outdoors, even the compass is almost accurate. I do have one complaint, the strap is made cheap, mine is un-sewing, but will sew with nylon thread. other than that I have no other complaint.
