This is one of those "wish I had it before" additions. It is exceedingly flexible - I am using it to hold my Nikon as a webcam when I am not using it for actual photographs. Sturdy, light, flexible.

It is very sturdy and well constructed, better than I expected. However it is a little bulky to carry for travel. I guess it is not easy to find a compromise between these two objectives. You have to consider which is your priority.

This unit is known to be heavy, but the carbon fiber helps with the weight and makes it feel like carrying a Aluminum Manfrotto Monopod.I tested this with my 70-200 lens. Nice and stable with the Manfrotto MVH500AH. Perfect for run-and-gun interviews, speeches, weddings, commercials and events.Although its hands-free, never attempt to leave your camera on any monopod out of your sight. It’s still a monopod. This monopod is perfect for non-steady 2nd shooters or for those days you’ve had a little too much caffeine.. lolI like that this can be used also for creative shots with the drag adjuster on the base. Thank you Adorama for letting me use a bunch of coupon codes on this purchase over the phone. Yeahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

I love this Monopod. I bought it to use mainly for video and to be a quick use replacement of a tripod. So far with my fuji setup I can shoot time-lapses, videos, jib shots, and use with my gimbal to expand the options. I also take the feet off and use them for my gimbal when I am not using the full monopod. Great build, light enough for travel, strong enough for long-term use!

Ive had a few and now I have what I was looking for. I was pleased while unboxing. Sirui does a great job packaging. True to form, the supplied quality case accommodates a head as well, thank you. The feet work well by providing a very stable base. Optional ball head movement down at the foot for better support durring range of motion. Speaking of range of motion, the feel of the optional pan feature produces nice smooth pans. The monopod opens and closes effortlessly like you would expect. It has the Sirui look and feel, their great case, and super functionality that is well built. A fantastic value. If you think you need one, buy this one, best Monopod so far!

Early review: Quality monopod. Feels solid and substantial in hand. Attention to detail is the likes of Apple.

Substantial but light ~~~Travels well in it's own case W/all the bits that are included. Good support for mirrorless cameras. Monopods are handy support tools. Do Not think of it as a tripod replacement~~even if it has great feet~~~!!!

The monopod was acturately described by the company and reviews were helpful. Service was excellent. I received the monopod in just a few days.

This is well put together and STURDY. I used it as a light stand with the mini legs down (with panning feature to turn the light easily), tripod for a quick interview (mounted a DSLR and Mic no problem) and as a traditional monopod for shooting in low lit theater--ALL IN THE SAME SHOOT. Awesome? Yes.

I wanted to bring this for long hiking trips that required backpacking up mountains as the idea was to keep my gear as light as possible. I got the Sirui VH10 head to go with it. The VH10 head and the panning function of the monopod itself worked well, but when you're using telephoto lenses, any slight movement is shaky. It's a lot different than a tripod in that when you try to do moves when zoomed in on something real far, there's a lot of vibration. When you lock it down, it takes about 20 seconds for vibration and swaying to stop. When vibration and swaying does stop, the monopod does it's job well. However, I was concerned that wind up on a mountain would not keep this monopod still. If you're using wide angle lenses, your movements can appear pretty close to a tripod. I wish the feet were as long as the 324s. These feet are each 2 inches shorter. When I went to go loosen or tighten some of the twist locks, the rest of the locks would want to move move as well.

For several years I've been using a low level Manfrotto monopod and head and I decided I had to upgrade. I choose the P204S because I couldn't justify the cost of of the P324S to save very little weight. Regardless, I am very happy with it and for several reasons. This monopod has twist locks as opposed to flip locks which I hate. Also the leg extension are longer and heavier duty, of course I am basing this on reviews, both written as well as YouTube but the P204S is surprisingly stable though it's a good idea to rest a foot on one of the legs. The height is just right for me, I'm 6 ft.

This is the real deal. Having owned several monopods and hiked a good many miles in all kinds of terrain and weather, I finally found a very light weight, yet heavy duty unit. It's rugged design actually works in the field, under real life conditions that you actually encounter, while out looking for that "money shot". There's attention to detail with a nice case, feet that are big enough to actually be useful and a reversible mount bolt for either 1/4" or 3/8" attachments. It is very fairly priced, making it a terrific value. Yes, you could pay less, and I have, but you'll be very sorry in the field. You can also pay a lot more, and I've done that too, and not get nearly the quality and versatility that this unit offers. A DEFINITE best buy for a monopod.

I love the fact that this monopod is so portable. Just travelled to N.Carolina and didn't want to lug around a tripod. This monopod is easier to travel with and "Just as functional as a tripod". Actual, it more versatile than a tripod and just as sturdy. I'm using it with a Nikon D750 and it holds it securely with very stable balance. Don't think twice about this one... It's a great product!

This is really an excellent monopod with legs. Superb workmanship and a fantastic design. The legs also work separately as a tabletop tripod. Ingenious!

I have this one and the Manfrotto both with video heads. This unit is far superior in every way. Stands alone with confidence.

This monopod is very stable and compact. The folding feet are well made and strudy.

This doesn't fully replace a tripod, but .... that is the whole point. It fits those in-between scenarios and is much easier to travel from the trunk of the car up the trail. This is a well made camera accessory that is light-weight and will get the photo in many non-handheld situations. The 3 feet on this monopod make a difference - they are solid, fold-up or removable, and are made to place a foot on them for added stability. A shortcoming would be that "as is" (with the camera directly mounted) it easily takes landscape mode, but going quickly to portrait mode requires a flip-head mount to realign the camera.

I bought this to pair with my Canon 400mm and 500mm lenses. This heavy duty monopod works great, except when there is a lot of wind. Otherwise it gives you capability to move around quicker than with a standard tripod.

Loving this Monopod so far. I have used it for 3 weddings now, where I only used my benro. I don't regret the switch at all, very happy with my decision. I haven't used it for a table top most yet, but I can't wait. The stupidness of the legs are wonderful, and definitely feel comfortable leaving it alone to stand for a short period of time, with close observation that is. ; ) the legs are a little bigger than the benro, and i thought it was going to be annoying when i was first looking to purchase, but they just perfect. no complaints here!

Sturdy. Well-built, if a bit heavy. Kinda complicated and sexy at once. Should be around for a long time. The Lainie Kazan of monopods.

I really like the monopod that I ordered. It is what I expected it to be. I have researched the monopod before I decided to order it from you and I did not regret it. I am willing to recommend it to anyone who would like to buy one. Great construction and value for the money. Thanks.

This is not a substitute for a tripod, even with the feet extended. You will still need to hold it steady. That said, it is a very nice unit, nicely designed and solidly built. I wish it were lighter and shorter, but for the price, I can't complain.

I give it a 4 star rating, because of severel things...one the nice bag it comes with, it's very sturdy. Spec's say it holds 17 or so lbs.? It could or may hold more ?? It's that tough, the built in panning head is sooo smoooth !! Compared to my friends Manfrotto video mono pod, he has to fiddle with it to make sure it is set up to make sure it even stands up at all. The 3 feet are too small on the Manfrotto. A big plus for the Sirui P-204S, the feet are at least twice as big. I did buy a 3Pod Q2 fluid video head to go on top of the Sirui video monopod because I needed to go vertical/up & down shots along with the panning shots. SO the only thing that keep me from giving it 5 stars is the twist legs...I do wish they were flip lock levers instead.

I purchased this product so that I would have a self standing more portable monopod that I could travel with and use for video. I love the monopod and as far as a video monopod, it could not be better. I love the panning head, I love the claw foot, I love the solid construction, and I love its ability to be adjusted around its central access. The only issue I have is that for a monopod that I wanted to be portable, it feels like I am wielding a gravity hammer. I just wish it was more compact and portable. If you don't mind the size and want something that has tremendous reach, solid construction, and great video features, this is for you. Just don't expect to throw it in a small backpack and run around with it without it being large and conspicuous and getting caught on a bunch of things.

The Sirui P-326S Carbon Fiber Photo/Video Monopod is from the PS-Series of advanced monopods, which are perfect for videographers and long-lens photographers alike, due to high load capacity, low weight and smooth operation.
With its 6 section leg, the P-326S folds to a very compact size for easy transportation. Sealed twist-locks ensure very secure locking and ability to support higher payloads, as well as comfortable handling with cold, wet or gloved hands. Hand-in-hand with compact closed size is low weight - especially with this model's carbon fiber tubes - without any compromise on rock-solid stability.
The stand-out feature of SIRUI's PS-Series is the detachable fold-out "spider" at the foot of the monopod. As expected with SIRUI, it is beautifully engineered. It's wider spread, coupled with a friction adjustable ball system, enables improved stability and fine movement control. A unique SIRUI tilt movement limiter system also means you can really fine tune the operation to suit the equipment being supported, and allows up to 20 degrees of tilt angle. In the body of the monopod is a fluid panning mechanism. It allows silky-smooth pan motion, essential to videographers and useful to long-lens still photographers tracking fast moving subjects.
The spider is completely removable, and can be used on its own as a table-top or ground level support. Removing the spider converts the PS to a standard monopod with a rubber foot. Also supplied is a spiked foot for use on soft ground.
Completing the package, PS monopods are also supplied with a slim carry case for protection, and a wrist strap and foam leg grip for secure handling and control in cold or wet conditions.
Ideal in changeable light situations, or for supporting heavy gear for long times, SIRUI PS-Series monopods are an essential tool in your kit bag.
