Yes it doesn’t have an auto focus, but this is fine to get night pictures and have fun with the camera. I have taken pictures in the house with no light and was amazed. I love this camera. I am a paranormal investigator. I have used many different IR cameras & Full Spectrum cameras and I feel this is a superior product. The quality is just amazing, even in the lowest of light. In total darkness a candle can provide an amount of light to record very well. If the battery gets low, I simply plug in the charging cord and use that as my power supply.
