The description says these are as tough as tape. That is absolutely not true. If you use these to seal a box. Especially one with heavy documents in it. This label pops right in half. These tear VERY easily and they do not show a stamp if torn off package as described. Save your money and time of ordering something better and just spend a little extra the first time.

The Sirchie Evidence Integrity Strips provide a secure and efficient solution for law enforcement and forensic professionals to seal and protect evidence. Measuring 1-3/8 inches (35 mm) in width and 7 inches (178 mm) in length, these strips are designed for selective and economical distribution, eliminating the need for entire rolls of tape and allowing for precise allocation per case.
Crafted with a high-quality destructible tape substrate, identical to that used in Sirchie's renowned No. SM1000, these strips ensure that once applied, any attempt to tamper with the seal will result in visible damage, maintaining the integrity of the evidence. The added stability comes from a robust 0.007-inch thick liner, which supports easy application and handling.
The strips are presented in a striking translucent red color, featuring opaque black overprinting that enhances visibility and provides a professional appearance. With six different formats available, these evidence integrity strips cater to various evidence sealing requirements. The printable surface of the tape allows for the addition of initials and dates, ensuring a clear chain of custody and aiding in the documentation process.
Packaged in a convenient easy-feed dispenser box, each box contains 100 strips, streamlining the process of evidence sealing and providing a user-friendly experience for investigators. The dispenser box ensures strips are kept organized and readily accessible, further enhancing the efficiency of evidence collection and preservation.
In summary, the Sirchie Evidence Integrity Strips are an indispensable tool for maintaining the security and authenticity of evidence, with a design that promotes ease of use and accountability in forensic and investigative applications.
