I'm building my first "real" filter kit and purchased this 10 stop filter from Sirui. First, cost was important to me. I purchased this on sale and it ended up being less than most resin filters, and a fraction of the cost of other glass filters. Second, it was important that it was glass. Sirui has published a great product guide on their site about their manufacturing process, which gave me a lot of confidence when buying this filter. Performance wise, though I don't have anything to compare to, I can say it's excellent. I've watched reviews of ND filters 3-10 times the cost that created color cast. In my initial testing, there was no color cast at all. And the filter stopped exactly 10 stops of light, which is refreshing considering I've had bad experiences with other filters in this price range. All I can say is regardless of budget, this ND filter should be in your kit if you're looking for a 10 stop filter.
