Lightweight, Sturdy and Sufficient Depth
At 11.3 pounds bare, this rack is well suited for the weekend warrior who does not require the strength and weight of a full ATA certified rack.
Used with adult supervision, this rack should last for the long haul. It does have a lifetime warranty.
Rail to Rail depth is 15.75". This is generous for full size amps, and over kill for short effects and preamps.
The removeable rear cover allows much easier access than does the lid of the shorter XRack series.
Front and Rear rails are installed. I use wood blocks to secure the back of my PLX amps to the rear rail.
3RU works well for a typical power amp and 1RU component such as a crossover or preamp. 4RU offers more working room at a higher cost and a larger size.
Adorama had the best price, by far. Their online ordering, customer service, and delivery are all top notch.
