Bring your audio and video equipment anywhere with confidence using the 20" Removable Shock Rack Transport Case from SKB's 3RR Series. Available in a range of sizes from 3U to 14U, these transport cases are designed to provide superior protection for your sensitive electronic equipment. Crafted from LMDP Linear Medium Density Polyethylene plastic, these cases meet or exceed MIL-STD 810G standards, ensuring their durability and resistance to heat, chemicals, and dust. The lightweight yet sturdy construction makes these cases an ideal choice for transporting and storing your equipment.The 20" 3RR Series Removable Racks boast a depth of 20" from rail to rail and a standard 19" rack width as per ANSI/EIA-310-C specification. They feature square-hole rack rails that can accommodate either #10-32 US standard or 6mm International standard cage nuts, which are included with the cases.These transport cases are equipped with eight elastomeric shock absorbers, allowing for a standard payload range of 40 to 150 lbs. For heavier equipment, an optional extended payload range of 160 to 300 lbs can be accommodated as a special order option.The rugged roto-molded shell of these cases ensures industry-leading strength and impact resistance. The standard commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) case comes with 2" deep front and rear lids to accommodate rack gear that is longer than 20". For added convenience, these cases feature molded-in stacking ribs and lugs, black powder-coated stainless steel hardware that's recessed for protection, and four comfort grip spring-loaded lift handles for easy movement. An automatic pressure relief valve and gasket-sealed lids with convenient lid hangers are also standard features.The interior of the case features a removable rack with a patent-pending "positive lock" latching system that slides open like a file drawer, providing full access to racked equipment. The interior rack is also completely removable, allowing complete frame access for bench integration. Available in Black (standard), Desert Tan, and OD Green, these 20" Removable Shock Rack Transport Cases are designed to stack with all SKB 3RR and 3RS cases, as well as competitive manufacturer cases. Coupling straps are included for securing the racks together when stacked. Over all a good case if you need to have your rack easily removable. Slides in and out really good. Locking mechanism is a bit excessively robust in my opinion. The rack is made out of aluminum railings with ribbits. Comfortable to work with. Locks on the outer case are cheap. Nothin like other brands.
