Explore the robust and versatile 20" Removable Shock Rack Transport Case from SKB's 3RR Series, available in a range of sizes from 3U to 14U, including the 9U variant. This black, lightweight Shock Rack is designed to be your ultimate solution for safeguarding and transporting sensitive electronic equipment. It boasts an array of protective features, making it shockproof, watertight, dustproof, and resistant to heat and chemicals.Crafted from LMDP Linear Medium Density Polyethylene plastic, this transport case meets or surpasses the stringent MIL-STD 810G standards. It incorporates eight elastomeric shock absorbers, supporting a standard payload range of 40 to 150 lbs. For heavier equipment, an optional extended payload range of 160 to 300 lbs can be accommodated as a special order.The 20" 3RR Series Removable Racks are 20" deep from rail to rail, conforming to the standard 19" rack width as per the ANSI/EIA-310-C specification. They feature square-hole rack rails compatible with either #10-32 US standard or 6mm International standard cage nuts, which are included with the cases.The case's rugged roto-molded shell guarantees industry-leading strength and impact resistance. The standard commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) case includes 2" deep front and rear lids to accommodate rack gear longer than 20". Designed with practicality in mind, this case features molded-in stacking ribs and lugs, allowing it to stack seamlessly with all SKB 3RR and 3RS cases, as well as cases from competitive manufacturers. It also features black powder-coated stainless steel hardware recessed for protection, and four comfort grip spring-loaded lift handles for easy transportation.An automatic pressure relief valve is a standard feature, along with gasket-sealed lids that include convenient lid hangers for storing your lids during equipment operation. Coupling straps are included for securing the racks together when stacked.The interior of the case houses a removable rack with a patent-pending "positive lock" latching system that slides open like a file drawer, providing full access to racked equipment. The interior rack is also completely removable, allowing complete frame access for bench integration. Available in a sleek black finish, this 20" Removable Shock Rack Transport Case can also be ordered in Desert Tan and OD Green.

Over all a good case if you need to have your rack easily removable. Slides in and out really good. Locking mechanism is a bit excessively robust in my opinion. The rack is made out of aluminum railings with ribbits. Comfortable to work with. Locks on the outer case are cheap. Nothin like other brands.
