While SKB's 3RS Series Static Shock Rack Transport Cases are available in a range of sizes, the 11U 20" model stands out for its robust and versatile design. This black, rugged transport case is engineered to offer superior protection for your sensitive electronic equipment, making it an ideal choice for professionals in the audio and video industry.

Constructed from high-strength, lightweight aluminum alloy extrusions and 11-gauge hot rolled carbon steel rack rails, this case adheres to EIA-310 standards, ensuring quality and durability. The case's shock and vibration mitigation is achieved through eight elastomeric isolators, capable of handling a payload range of 40 lbs to 150 lbs. For those requiring a higher payload, an optional extended range of 160 lbs to 300 lbs can be accommodated as a special order.

The 3RS Series 11U 20" case is molded from LMDP Linear Medium Density Polyethylene plastic, a material that meets or surpasses MIL-STD 810G standards. This ensures the case is not only lightweight and shockproof but also watertight, dustproof, heat, and chemical resistant.

Measuring 20" deep from rail to rail and featuring a standard 19" rack width as per ANSI/EIA-310-C specification, this case is designed to accommodate a variety of equipment sizes. The square-hole rack rails are compatible with both #10-32 US standard and 6mm International standard cage nuts, which are included with the case.

The case's rugged roto-molded shell offers industry-leading strength and impact resistance, while the 2" deep front and rear lids accommodate rack gear longer than 20". For added convenience, the case features molded-in stacking ribs and lugs, black powder-coated stainless steel hardware, and four comfort grip spring-loaded lift handles.

An automatic pressure relief valve and gasket-sealed lids with convenient lid hangers are standard features, ensuring your equipment remains safe and secure during transport. The case also includes coupling straps for securing the racks together when stacked, further enhancing its functionality and ease of use.
