Let the SKB 3RS Series Static Shock Rack Transport Cases safeguard your sensitive electronic equipment with unparalleled protection. Available in a range of sizes from 3U to 14U, these cases are designed to be lightweight yet robust, offering a superior shield against water, dust, heat, and chemical damage. Constructed with a high-strength aluminum alloy inner rack chassis, these cases feature 11-gauge hot rolled carbon steel rack rails that adhere to EIA-310 standards. The cases are equipped with eight elastomeric isolators, designed to absorb shock and vibration, ensuring your equipment remains secure and stable during transport. These isolators can handle a payload range of 40 lbs to 150 lbs, with an optional extended payload range of 160 lbs to 300 lbs available upon special request. The interior frame and shocks of the 3RS Series cases provide ample sway space, promoting ambient air circulation and effective heat dissipation. Crafted from LMDP Linear Medium Density Polyethylene plastic, these cases meet or exceed the rigorous MIL-STD 810G standards, ensuring your equipment is housed in a case built to withstand the toughest conditions. With a depth of 20" from rail to rail and a standard 19" rack width as per ANSI/EIA-310-C specification, these cases are designed to accommodate your equipment perfectly. They feature square-hole rack rails that can fit either #10-32 US standard or 6mm International standard cage nuts, which are included with the cases. The rugged roto-molded shell of the 3RS Series cases provides industry-leading strength and impact resistance. Each case comes with 2" deep front and rear lids to accommodate rack gear longer than 20". The cases are designed with molded-in stacking ribs and lugs, allowing them to stack seamlessly with all SKB 3RR and 3RS cases, as well as cases from competitive manufacturers. Finished with black powder-coated stainless steel hardware that is recessed for protection, and equipped with four comfort grip spring-loaded lift handles, these cases are easy to transport. An automatic pressure relief valve and gasket-sealed lids, complete with convenient lid hangers, add to the functionality of these cases. Coupling straps are also included for secure stacking.
