This light meter is easy to use. I am new to using a light meter. I found this meter to be easy to operate and given the results of my photos, accurate. It was also more affordable than many others out there.

The light meter is great. The tyvek envelope package it was shipped in sucked. The small brand box that the meter came in was crushed. There was no packing material at all in the tyvek envelope. I was afraid the meter would be damaged but it seems to be OK, no thanks to your efforts. I am not sure if I'd order anything from you again if this is the way you ship items.

I recently purchased the l-208 and have to say its great. What i like about it is its simplicity in metering. its very accurate too. The other advantage it has is portability, its small and lightweight and a bargain for the cost. Rich

I have been using this meter for a year, and it a joy to use. The ability to turn the wheels to try out aperture/shutter/ISO combinations before taking a reading is also very valuable for planning. My only gripe is that it stops working if it gets even a little damp. I carry a small screwdriver so that I can take the back off to let it dry out when this happens.

I purchased this lightmeter for use with my 35mm film cameras. The compact size of this meter makes it ideal for stuffing in my camera go bag and hitting the trail. I like the fact that this meter can be mounted in flàsh accessory of the camera. My old light meter used hard to find batteries and this is not the case with L-208. The large digits and color coding makes it easy on my eyes. I would recommend this meter my friends.

I was looking for something that had a shoe mount that would fit on some an old rolli as well as an old bronica, that would not be to digital, as I wanted to get exposures that would be very old school yet would be accurate enough to allow me to use for a variety of small projects with other cameras..this fit the bill.

I use this with my M4 and Mamiya 6 while doing street photography. It perfect except that the ISO setting can slip if not careful. Too bad Sekonic didn't make it locking.

The Seconic L-208 is compact, accurate, light, and easy to use. And it's sensitive enough for most applications. Perfect for those photographers who like to do things the old-fashioned way - by taking their own exposere readings. Or those who love using those wonderful, classic, meterless 35mm and medium format cameras.

Very small, compact and lightweight. Real pocket-size meter, but readings are not always consistant. Better than nothing, but I would not use it for very critical work.

I actually had my eye on Model # L-358 but decided to give this one a try for less than half the cost. When I tried it, It worked well! It worked even better than I expected it would. It is very accurate for a analog meter. It does not have a flash function, but I don't need that at this time. If you are on the fence about this meter, don't worry, it works well!

This small meter has a unique mount that allows me to mount it on the accessory/flash shoe of the camera. Now I have a light weight meter right on the camera instead of carrying a separate light meter. Very nice. The shoe mount design is flexible enough to use on a 1950 camera. I did have to add a cardboard shim to get the battery to make contact in the battery compartment.
