Great value for a 6 in. aperture. I also like the 2 in. focuser with the 1.25 in. adapter option and the finder scope. The 2 in. focuser is what really made me decide on this scope and not the Orion XT6. Also, this is something my whole family will be using so the Dobsonian mount was also a key factor for ease of use. I think it's a great scope whether your starting out or upgrading.David N : Best reviews

Affordable big telescope!

It is indeed a "monster" telescope! You can tell that it was well made, really good packaging too. So in a few weeks, I should bring it to the desert, and by what I saw, regarding the telescope itself, I'm sure I will have amazing nights of stargazing! ;) I'm happy with my purchase.;)

Nice lightbucket

Very nice scope. Easy to assemble. Once collimated it gave great views. Do recommend upgrading the finder to a right angle finder or red dot as it?s kinda awkward to look through. Also helps if you already have some better eyepieces as the included ones are just so-so. The tension control works very well at supporting my heavy eyepieces without slipping and the motion on both axis is smooth.
