SkyWatcher WiFi adapter is a real time saver.  Instead of taking time to upload time and location data, your system downloads from smart phone.  Also, alignment is easier with list of available stars instead of scrolling with handset.  Overall a great upgrade for compatible SkyWatcher mounts.,

GREAT UPGRADE I

The Sky Watcher Sun Scan WiFi takes the place of the handheld control unit. It is quick and easy to connect to the WiFi signal that the unit creates (just look for the signal in your Settings) in your phone or tablet! Once connected, the unit produces a flashing signal to show that it is operating. Once connected, use the app (easily downloaded from the App Store on your phone) to star align and slew your mount to any star, planet or deep space object in the sky! It will also track your object if using for photography! The best feature is that you can send the mount back to the ?home position? when done with your session and hibernate the unit when finished using. A lot of features packed into a small and affordable unit!

Sun Scan WiFi

I have a Sky-Watcher GTe mount, so this adaptor allowed me to use SynScan to make my Virtuoso a WiFi-capable GoTo mount when using Cartes du Ceil and ASCOM drivers, so I can use a Mak for planetary, and a 102mm f/4.9 refractor for DSO and EAA.

Comparatively inexpensive, plug-and-play, and uses my existing Sky-Watcher knowledge, so no learning curve.

Does what it's supposed to, instructions are lacking but the website makes up for it. For Android current version of software has to be downloaded from manufacturer website, Google Play is not up to date, works well once you do that.

This WIFI adapter works perfectly for what is supposed to do, work with the app for the iPhone. It was very easy to connect to the scope and my iPhone.

Good WIFI adapter

Easy to set up. Very fast connection to the SynScan app on my iPhone XS. The app allows me to control the go to mount and adds features not available on the handheld SynScan. Love it!

Works just as advertised with the SynScan app but not so much with other other applications (ie MacBook+SkySafari+Atlas).
