I purchased this quick release system becasue it appeared to be the best mechanism and the price was great. I haven't actually used it for shooting yet but tried it out just mounting and unmounting my camera. It seems to be a very solid mount of good workmanship. Materials are good. I purchased this mount since I do action photos of triathlons and need a mount that will allow me to dismount my camera instantly.
