Extend life and maintain performance of your photo and video equipment using the Slinger Electronic Dry Cabinet 600L. This programmable, moisture-sealed chamber stores up to 600L of gear, allowing you to create an ideal, low-humidity storage environment for your investments by actively drying up the air inside of its chamber. A combination lock keeps it all secure. It will help prevent corrosion, deterioration, and the growth of pesky fungi. To achieve this goal, the cabinet features an advanced built-in thermoelectric (TE) desiccation cooling technology.Compared to dry cabinets with compressors, this TE cooling method is purely electronic, with no moving parts, power-efficient (draws less than 15W), quiet, and does not generate extra heat. You can program the cabinet to reach and maintain any relative humidity level between 25% and 60%. You can always monitor the internal temperature and humidity and it also has an integrated bright digital LED display. Other highlights are its three padded shelves, four locking caster feet, and lockable see-through doors with Combination Lock.

I couldn't be more thrilled with my purchase of the Slinger 125L Electronic Dry Cabinet from Adorama! From the moment it arrived, I was impressed by its sleek design and spacious interior. This cabinet has completely transformed how I store and protect my gear.

The top shelf easily supports three DSLR bodies, including my Canon 5D Mark IV, 90D and T7i. Right below them are my prized Holy Trinity of EF Lenses, all comfortably secured with room to spare. On the third shelf, I have the Holy Trinity of EF-S lenses perfectly arranged. The fourth shelf holds one of my favorite prime lenses, along with two additional EF-S lenses, while still leaving space to access everything easily.

What really surprised me was the ample room on the bottom shelf, where I've stored two Canon 430EX II Speedlites, my FeelWorld monitor, eight batteries, battery chargers, and camera remotes-all organized and protected in a perfectly controlled environment. The digital humidity control is precise and reliable, and I love the added security of the combination lock.

I initially considered the 90L model, but based on the recommendation to size up, I went with the 125L-and I'm so glad I did! Not only does it comfortably fit my current gear, but it also gives me room to grow, including space for the mirrorless camera I plan to add soon.

?????????? 5-Star Review - Slinger 125L Dry Cabinet from Adorama

I've used a 50L Ruggard case for a few years and needed more space. When I started looking this Slinger 55L was on sale cheaper than the Ruggard 50L, and I preferred the idea of a combination lock to a key so I decided to give it a try.

It is flat out better than the Ruggard in every way. 

It is around an inch wider and deeper, which means I have 4 camera bodies with lenses attached on the top shelf instead of just 3. 

The LEDs inside are much brighter, and the screen is also brighter and easier to read. 

The thermometer and humidistat inside is accurate compared to my accurite, govee, and aranet meters. 

All around I have absolutely nothing to complain about, it's an easy 5 star.

Does what is says.  Humidity display will not go below 30% even if actual humidity does.  I have not yet tested this in high humidity environments.  It looks like it controls relative humidity by increasing temperature.  Does not have a compressor to cool air and condense moisture out of it.

Decent

Great cabinet, very well packaged from Slinger/Adorama. Was shocked at how much padding they fit in to the box to protect the glass. Like the way the shelves roll out and they where big enough to fit my huge Sigma 60-600 lens.

Solid choice as advertised

Product came quickly and extremely well packaged. It's exactly what I was looking for to store by camera equipment. Big enough for additional storage should I buy additional equipment, but not too big that it takes up a bunch of space. It fits nicely in my closet.

Perfect for my needs! Keeps a constant humidity level to keep mold and mildew away. Costs very little to run and keeps my gear safe from moisture.

No moisture problems

I would have purchased one of these long ago had I known they were so affordable and easy to use.  I have 3 full frame camera bodies and about a dozen lenses. A great value and the nice look adds to the appeal.

Great value and looks good too

Good size to hold all your gear. The shelves are a little flimsy feeling but they hold a decent amount of weight. If they slid in and out more smoothly I would have given 5 stars. Lots of room.

Plenty of room, shelves could be sturdier

Just as described, nice little dry box with lock and light (I got the 35L).  No trouble reaching the desired humidity I set it to.  There is a slight chemically smell but it did not transfer to the equipment I put in the box and probably would have gone away if I aired it out a bit first. 

I am very happy with the purchase, great value.

Solid product

I ordered this for filament storage for my 3d printers and wow is it a nice piece of equipment!  It does take the moisture level down below 20% even though it states in the description 40% which is perfect for the filament.  I really enjoy using this everyday compared to my previous storage solution!

Slinger Dry Cabinet

Excellent dry box, well worth the cost and exactly what I was looking for. Unit was extremely well packaged for overseas shipment. Unpacked, there was no damage of any kind. Foam pads are odor-free.

When set up in a living area, the unit achieved 71deg/40%RH in a few hours; ambient was 74deg/50% RH. Over time in its target location (bench, sub-grade garage shop, roughly dehumidified, Midwest), the unit holds 70deg/40RH within a few points in a 68-72/55 environment.  An independent temp/humidity gauge inside the cabinet reads the same temp as the unit's panel, but a few % less RH. Note: the unit humidistat only sets to 40 vs the 30 low-end indicated in the specs. This is not likely a significant issue for anyone or any equipment.

Caveat: calculate your space needs before deciding which size cabinet to order. I could have used slightly more space. The lens-holding foam pad gets used up quickly with longer lenses and telephotos and shelf-shelf spacing is tight for seeing items in back.

Slinger 125L dry box for photo gear - excellent product

I am extremely happy with this dry cabinet.  It is easy to program, it maintains the humidity selected and is completely silent.  I've only had it for a few days but it has been great so far!  I use it to store camera bodies and several lenses.

Quiet humidity cabinet

I'm very pleased with this little cabinet. I shoot on the beach frequently and when I return home, I place my camera and lenses in it to ensure I get no moisture issues.

Been needing one of these for a while. It's great. Silent, holds at 40% (unless the door is opened, obviously). For the size and construction, the combo lock is unnecessary. Arrived packed well with straps, corners and plenty of protection. Would buy again.

I love this thing! It is reasonably priced and does the job of keeping my camera equipment dry in a very humid environment.

Great product!

Living in a region known for high humidity and temperatures makes the possibility of mold growth a reality. When I considered how much I have invested in my photography gear over the years the cost of dry safe place to store my gear seemed a small price to pay. Set up was easy, I was surprised how much gear could fit in the cabinet. I'll probably purchase another one soon for storing "optics" (binoculars, scopes). So far so good, "thumbs up" recommendation!!

Pros: Solid construction, works effectively and the controls are simple.  It starts bringing down the humitidy immediately.  The Web site description doesn't state this 90L model comes with LED lighting inside, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it when it arrived.  

Cons:  Contoured shelf padding for lenses is too narrow for big glass.  The foam padding on the other shelves is OK, but should be denser.  

The description on the Web states it comes with Fingerprint and Key lock, but it only has a key lock - not a big deal for me, but something to be aware of when buying.

Does the job

After years of contemplating getting this, I finally picked it up during one of the sales.  Works great.  Great value and wonderful presentation in my office while using it to store lenses.  Not sure how accurate the thermometer is exactly, but the hygrometer was pretty close to my independent test with putting another meter in there.  May not be precision, but is close enough to keep your gear dry and know if your temperature in the space is too high.
