When Adorama put this on sale Deal of the Day for $799, it was a no brainer. I have been looking at scooters for a year to make my first purchase. I am a retiree and and a Grandpa but I live in rural NC mountain area. It is .6 miles up and down a steep hill to my mailbox. I thought a scooter would be fun. But I figured out I needed one that can climb. Does not need to go fast, Just be able to climb and handle occasional gravel. This scooter fit the bill. I am happy to report it IS a beast. Big knobby tires. Plenty of power. It defaults to being able to select 3 speed zones. I only ride in low or medium. There is a super speed mode that can be unlocked in the menu system but I do not see ever needing that. I did buy standard safety equipment(knee, elbow and wrist pads) and use my bicycle helmet. The brakes are cable pull, not hydraulic disk but they work okay. It would be nice for me if it had regenerative braking, but that requires a much higher price point scooter. This is not for an urban warrior who wants to reduce uber usage. I am sure younger riders have a ball on some dirt trails with hills and turns. The battery is removable, but I do not ever see doing that unless it wears out. I charge it in place. It is pure Chinese manufacture all the way and even its instructions say do not charge inside. When I charge it I have it in the driveway but so far no issues at all. The only issue I have found is that the front battery cover screw does not line up exactly with its hole and appears to be cross threaded. No big deal. This scooter is actually rebadged from HX e scooters which apparently makes scooters for a lot of other resellers. I have ordered a spare set of brake pads, since I use a lot of brakes when I go down my hill.

What a beast! Fast even with my backpack full of gear. Amazing ride, my head stands above pickup truck and the suspension are so good, road issues are no problems. Super fast, stops on a dime with the dual front and back disk brakes, Do not plan on carrying this down a set of stairs, heavy scooter but this is what you get for amazing performance.
