sturdy, rigid, fairly lightweight and  small. flip lock legs work fine. fit a medium ball head on it w/o a problem.  its quite usable for Timelapse at minimum length as long as you are open minded about support - table, rock, etc to get the right height. traveled well. in a very small photo backpack just big enough for a body and 2 small lenses. much better than some other cheap options that can't support a camera. also had no problem putting 5# shot bag on it when it was windy and not taking chances wind would take tripod over. I've seen it happen with big cameras on big tripods.

Excellent small tripod

After using this small tripod for over a year now, it is an amazing piece of gear.  It allows the photographer to take photos from just above ground giving a new perspective to wide angle photos.

Getting Low

I love this little tripod! It allows me to get lower to the ground for interesting landscape angles. It also serves as a great tabletop tripod for close up product images. This tripod is small and lightweight enough to carry in my camera bag and compliments the other tripods I have in my collection.

Sturdy, easy to use, lots of nice features for the price. Be advised — if you want to use an accessory with a 1/4-inch socket, such as a microphone, web cam, or flash, you’ll need an adapter or a head. The screw at the top of the tripod is 3/8-inch.

Excellent tripod. Very rigid! I have been using it for lower camera angles with my focus rail. Will it use for low camera angle time lapse photos.
