This lens produced a severe magenta vignette on footage from my Blackmagic Pocket Camera. Considering the other positive reviews on this lens here, it may have been a defective copy. It's a shame because otherwise the lens had a nice build quality and created beautiful footage. Unfortunately, the magenta vignette made my copy unusable for professional use. I was very hopeful that the SLR Magic would be a great lens for me, but it seems like they might have some quality control issues.

I love all the SLR magic lens -this one tends to be a bit soft around the edges when wide open but very sharp image in the middle. The lens is heavy and ready for cine follow focus which I love. Great deal for the money. very cinematic

I was one of the first people to own this lens, and I have enjoyed it ever since. It has a special character, a set of tones and softness that comes with the impressive f0.92 (T0.95) aperture. The lens is sharp at f2.8 onwards and fits perfectly in Leica M and Sony Nex systems. My only cons is the weight, in my Sony A7II keeps coming slightly down from the adapter; therefore resulting in off-focused images.

For the price, this lens is perfect for a 50mm full frame equivalent on the BMPCC. Seems sharp enough, super close minimum focusing distance, nice bright aperture and pretty bokeh. Highly recommended.

This is a beautifully built, fast lens with a lot of character. It's not the sharpest lens -- in fact it's actually a little soft, but it has a very pleasing image that is very cinematic. It reminds of older Angenieux lens, a little low contrast, rather prone to flare (in an interesting way). Not for everybody, and if you value razor sharpness over all else this is the best choice, but I like it.

I greatly enjoy this lens. It has a solid build and excellent focus feel. It is especially nice since fuji just updated to include focus peaking, making focusing a breeze with this lens. Many people do not like the fact that the aperture does not click. I does not bother me. Wide open, this lens is soft, however bokeh is brilliant. It also focuses rather close which is a nice bonus.

SLR Magic 25mm T0.95 Hyperprime Cine II Lens MFT
The SLR Magic 25mm T0.95 Hyperprime Cine II Lens is one of the World's brightest 25mm lenses available. This is the new updated version which has been designed to be compatible for use with the Anamophot, anamorphic adapter. Essentially the front construction has been altered to cope with the additional weight of adapters, enabling their use without the requirement of a lens support. Aimed at movie and film use with a smooth decoupled aperture allowing seemless transitions of exposure. The fast T0.95 aperture allows shallow depth of field and offers a dreamy and unique character. The 25mm is also perfect for both low-light photography and cinematography.
The lens is dedicated to Micro Four Thirds (MFT) mount cameras, currently Panasonic, Olympus and Blackmagic Cinema cameras. The 25mm Hyperprime is a manual focus only lens with superb metal construction to the highest standards. The impressive workmanship is well suited for professional use. Both aperture and focus rings have integrated gearing for use on follow focus systems and camera rigs. The 25mm focal length makes it an ideal 50mm equivalent focal length.
Unique Design...
SLR Magic's uniquely designed variable neutral density filter provides the equivalent brightness range from 2 1/3 (ND 1.3) to 6 (ND 64) f-stop reduction with full practical range. Color shift and cross-like vignette effect commonly found on variable ND filters are avoided through use of special glass and treatment.
The versatility of the SLR Magic variable ND filter replaces the need for a set of ND filters and also prevents vignette that may occur when multiple ND filters are used. Digital multi-coating is used to reduce lens flares and ghosting effect caused by reflections. Calibrated markings on filter allow for repeatable positions.
Lever on ND filter helps to avoid obstruction during recording when ultra wide angle lenses. The SLR Magic Variable ND has markings from Minimum to Maximum in 12 calibrated positions, which are repeatable. Sharpness of Variable ND filters usually decreases dramatically when used beyond ND density of 1.0 but the SLR Magic Variable ND filter is able to maintain sharpness throughout the entire density range.
Many Variable ND filters usually show striation patterns in the out-of-focus circles of confusion in the bokeh but the SLR Magic Variable ND filter is optimized to suppress such effects.
