The strap is sturdy, comfortable, and well constructed. It attaches easily to the camera by screwing it into the tripod mount on the camera's bottom. The quick release clip is essentially just a carabiner but that's a small matter. Overall it's a product I would recommend if you don't like the over-the-neck straps that are included with most cameras.

Good alternative to traditional strap

I actually prefer the peak design slide. But this works similarly. It just uses one attachment point which is the threaded amount on the bottom of your camera. I gave it to my girlfriend to use for her camera and it is certainly more comfortable than any factory strap.
