Big, Very Low Distortion Lens

Much lower chromatic aberration and petzval field curvature off axis than the traditional plano-convex diopters/close-up lenses I was using before. Also measurably sharper dead center. It's definitely big and heavy but my needs are driven 100% by aberrations. This lens has the same strong blue color to its anti-reflective coatings that you see in the rest of SLR Magic's product line.

Advanced achromatic diopters are designed to provide greater close-up and magnification capability. Particularly suited to zoom video lenses, maintaining zoom capabilities without compromising image quality.
