This is a very good pin hole lens: it is durable and easy to mount. The 52mm filter thread on the front means that you can put a lens shade on it, which is a great feature. Pin holes have infinite depth of field. There is no lens, so the color and contrast are unusually strong and saturated. The lens is likely to make a vignetted, somewhat fuzzy picture on your camera (depending on the imager size), which has a cool, lo-tech look. Be aware: pin holes requires a *lot* of light. The aperture size is f/128. On a video camera, this means a high ISO setting. I shoot on my Panasonic AF100 video camera in bright sunlight with high ISO settings. The image looks wonderfully degraded, with rich colors and contrast. This is exactly what I bought the lens for.

The SLR Magic x Toy Lens Pinhole lens is the first wide-angle pinhole lens that is compatible with all micro four third mount cameras. The field of view of this Pinhole Lens corresponds to a 24mm pinhole lens in 35mm format. It is the first pinhole lens to offer a protective glass to keep dust and moisture away from the digital sensor.
