Light weight. Lugged it around disney and didn't break my back. At about 6" tall it clears most heads from shots.

I purchased this tripod to use with a Fujifilm X100F. I take this camera when traveling and found that my DSLR tripods were way to bulky for this camera. The Slik 150 Aluminum Tripod and the SBH-150DQ ball head fit the camera and provided a lightweight yet sturdy platform - I simply love it and enjoy using it with the X100F. I would highly recommend this combination for lightweight tripod requirements.

I needed a small tripod to hold flash unit a few feet off the ground. This one does that of course. But I was impressed with how well made and well designed it is. The leg releases are easy to operate, and all three on one leg can be locked with one hand motion. It is just the perfect small tripod.

As light as a feather! I use it with a small mirrorless digital camera, and the controls and lock snaps work very well. Being so light, it is something you don’t want to bang around carelessly, as it would probably break. But for lightweight carrying on a hike, where weight and small (collapsed) size are important, it is great.

Needed a light tripod for cheap and after a bit of searching I picked this one. It’s light enough for walking around and while I wish it were lighter I can’t afford to shell out for something like carbon fiber. I like the ball head but it’s my first so I don’t know about them but it’s nice and let’s me get whatever angle I’ve needed so far. Been plenty stable for moderately long exposure photography in breezy settings on gravelly ground. I’m pleased with it.

Although tripod is light for travel, it is fairly sturdy. 3 position leg angle allows a lot of flexibility in camera height and center column is removable as well as permitting camera to be mounted upside down below head. The head on this tripod has a larger ball head than other similar Slik tripods in this price range (e.g.Slik Pro-II) so the quick release plate is in the DQ-20 family instead of the smaller DQ-10. That makes a big difference in stability to me when mounting my Nikon D5300, even though it is a compact DX (APS-C) size DSLR. Extended height of the tripod of 64" (~54" before raising center column) is also a key feature compared to other tripods in this price range.

Looks great and is lightweight easy to carry. Works well with my Nikon point & shoot camera. This should also work well with a mirrorless camera & small lens

I would say this is a good entry level tripod, it's adequate at the best. It's not the most solid, definitely not the least. I wish I would have just spent the extra money on a more quality tripod. Live and learn though.

I bought this at a 60% closeout discount. Light and sturdy. Very light considering it's aluminum but very easy to carry at this weight. Leg adjustments are easy to use. Dual levels make it fairly easy to get the camera positioned accurately. 5 star rating due to price. Not sure if it would be 5 stars full retail.

I am using this with a cradle for a rifle rest while predator hunting. It flods up small enough to put it on my pack and is sturdy enough for any of the rifles that I own. I only use it from the sitting or kneeling positions, I have a Manfrotto for higher positions. It does work well for my spotting scope.
