The Slik SH-707E is all I use and recommend

The Slik SH-707E head is all I use and recommend to all my friends who are looking for a tripod attachment for their binoculars. I removed the ball heads on all my Slik Sprint Mini 3's and replaced them with a Slik SH-707E. Makes for a compact set up that fits perfectly in my back pack.

Perfect for heavy

Using this head on a Field Optics Research carbon tripod. This head is the perfect pairing to support a heavy spotting scope and binoculars. This head feels very heavy duty without a lot of play, and the plate locks solidly in place. Highly recommend!

A great head for a monopod

I am using this with a 5d mkii with lenses up to 100-400L, and it works great on my Slik or Sirui monopod. Easy to use and rock solid. I don't really use the panning feature since it's on a monopod, but adjusting angle is a snap with the lever. This head has a real solid and smooth feel, can't beat it for the price.

performed better than expected .

Used with tripod and high power binoculars for long range animal watching and hunting. Head has very smooth panning and locks well with heavy binocculars . Works better than more expensive models INOP. TRY ONE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED .
